A look at PIVX in the first half of 2018
In this post I take a quick look at some of the achievements and accomplishments made by PIVX in Q1 and Q2 of 2018.
- PIVX kicks off 2018 (The Year of Purple) with a birthday celebration. My favorite cryptocurrency turned one on New Year's day.

- PIVX is ranked 7th by 21 Cryptos Magazine.
- PIVX gets recognition over Monero.
- PIVX announces: UPF. What makes UPF unique is the fact that this core feature of PIVX was not implemented by the devs... but by the PIVX community themselves!
- PIVX announces exciting 2018 Roadmap.
- PIVX interview with Meredith Darden of the Cryptocurrency Investing Group featuring Bryan Doreian (Snappy).
- PIVX attends the Miami Bitcoin conference.
- PIVX is listed on Binance.
- @PIVX celebrates 1 Year Anniversary on Steemit with 1522 followers then. (Today @pivx has 1898 followers)
- PIVX interview with @crypt0 News at BTCMiami conference.
- "PIVX Steemit Original: Meet a Pivian interview series" launches with @ONeZetty being the first interviewee. Special mention goes to @valderrama for bringing us these interveiws.

As you can see, it has not been "Business as usual" with PIVX. The first half of 2018 has been pretty hectic, culminating with the successful implementation of zPOS. More is coming in Q3 and Q4... follow @pivx and watch this space!
