Photomag competition - Water Wednesday - Water splash

in #photomag6 years ago (edited)

There is not much to say about these pictures! They're part of the ... "Let's try this!"😀
@marjanko has inspired me to try this kind of photo (Visit his profile and give him the appreciation he deserves!!). I had enough patience, but the conditions were inadequate !!!

How did I take these pictures?

I set up an ad-hoc studio in the kitchen...
I do not have an external flash andI used a lamp to get more light.
I hung a small bag with water by a gas pipe and .... I took a couple of pictures !!!

That's how I'm making photographs!! Hey! Don't laugh! I'm just an amateur photographer and I'm doing it for fun! And ... it does not look really bad what I've got!

Here are two of the photos!

First 🤗 I'm so happy to see, that I made you try this... 🤗 and you are doing it as I did... Just try it🤘 I hope you enjoy the experience of the first steps to water drop photography✌️Next week, I will make a good tutorial how I do this... But if if you like it and you like to give it another go... quick tip 🍀
Use aluminium foil to reflect the light ✌️put the light on the side and aluminum foil on the other... you will get more light🍀 and you can use a faster shuter speed 1/250 👌 About the photos🔥 good work I love the blue one 😍

Thank you for the quick tip! I used a white paper. When I'll try again I will use an aluminum foil! I used 1/125 because the water source was higher and that was the best setting in the given conditions. I am waiting for your tutorial!

Great result. Amazing first try.

You did a very decent job. Drop water photography is very hard to do well. So kudos to you!

Lovely! Beautiful shot :)

So clear and crisp! Loved it friend.
