Hello steemit! Below is a collection of some fun critters and beautiful scenery taken while out walking my dog (check username). I am by no means a professional photographer. Hell, I wouldn't even call myself an amature. But regardless I do LOVE taking photos from my phone and if people upvote, I have plenty more to share ;) Thanks for checking out my post & enjoy!

My Dog Sky

I probably have too many pictures of Sky =p she's my 10 year old husky and we've gone on our daily walk almost every day for the last 10 years.

This picture above was taken on the coldest day of the year last year. It was roughly -35f (-37c) at the time of this photo, not including the windchill.

On a more warmer winter day, a picture out walking Sky at sunset.

This picture is part of a series that I'm working on where I take the same shot, from the same spot 4 times during each of the 4 seasons. This is our Summer photo.

I've posted this picture before, but it's one of my all time favorite. This was Sky around 7am on a day when it snowed almost 2 feet - waiting to go outside and play. We had so much fun that day.

Animal Friends

This was just a cool scene of a large colony of ants, which I attempted to take at ground level.

This is Chuck the snake. He lives below our steps entering our house. Harmless and very friendly.

These blue jays stop by daily for some food, water and a little sun bathing - they are very vocal!

Although we've never actually named the racoon (we probably should), she comes by weekly to steal left over bird food.

This picture doesn't do justice but this large hawk passes by our house frequently and usually keeps himself hidden. Finally was able to capture a picture of him one day ;)

This is Steve & Steve is the shit! He's been living on our front window for close to 8 weeks now. We live on a lake, so the bug situation gets real bad in the Summer time. Steve does his part to help control the pest population.

Beautiful Scenery

I thought this was one of the cooler photos of a swamp by our house that flooded after heavy rain.
