Is the blockchain the "Engine Room" of "Starship Earth"? - Part I

Introduction

The actual state of humanity and planet Earth implies today a total state of self-awareness and autonomy needed to stop the circle of immobilism that already reached a "dead-end" while the ruling class manages our future to total destruction.

“World Systems” or the “Whole Earth” is assuredly a complex system of systems, never mind the galaxy and the cosmos! For the Earth alone, we have the geosphere, the hydrosphere, the biosphere (from which some would separate out the anthroposphere or man), and the atmosphere, all in an extraordinary balance necessary to retain oxygen on Earth and provide other conditions for life.

In order for us to live within this finely balanced constellation of complex systems, in order for the Earth to show resilience and last for centuries into the future as an
environment for human life, we have to embody three things: a respect for Earth systems and their details in balance; a commitment to discovering and sharing the truth and only the truth at all times about all things; and a commitment to doing no harm. - The Challenge of Complexity - The open-source everything manifesto : transparency, truth, and trust - Robert David Steele

People fighting for Power and making conspiracies in the name of others, even if they are supported by them, is still appropriation of self-ownership by blindness, voluntary meaningless servitude, or conformism.
All my life I was a nonconformist and a free spirit and can't be controlled by conventional rules and I act by my own choices centered in Human Values above materiality as a path for life.
You can't regulate what was created to not be regulated. A regulated or proprietary blockchain will be a hierarchic "prison-chain".
The reaction of regulators is always inconsistent and slow (they are behind reality), so they create barriers that express their ignorance, creating friction to augment costs and robs competitiveness to the markets and to the flux of goods and money.

Real regulations must come from the interaction in consensus for all the members of a community and between communities inhabiting the blockchain.

Ubiquity and Perpetuity is the chance to seek refuge and to reign over "Starship Earth" in its entirety and overflows whatever might impose limits on humans imprisoned in kingdoms of enslaved ignorance. - charlie777pt

"Is the blockchain the engine room of Starship Earth" and will examine the possibilities for reconstructing direct democracy of the "primitive cities" in the blockchain, and to help people to think more about what should be different in decentralized autonomous systems, to revolutionize, to corrupt,and fight the increasing dictatorship of actual society against the flux of autonomy and freedom, to make Authoritarian and centralized Power obsolete,

Autonomy and freedom are the pillars of the problem of the construction of the post-Scarcity, post-Truth and post-Destruction Era to integrate a model of a myriad of small equalitarian communities or "critical-groups" of "block chained" citizens, that want to exercise their Influence and "Importance" in a "direct- democracy".
Centralized systems are routines created to be broken by self awareness under the basis of transparency to bring up the Truth.
Consensus building learning in the "block-chained" communities can be a virus leading to decentralization initially started by the concept of open-source software as common property, the first "conspiracy" of private citizens against the State and the concept of private centralized software that make Code as Law for private profit and create "back-doors" for stealing our privacy by confusing people with of false claims of security.

Fascism is not coming it is already here, and the fascistic figures emerging in alt right and left movements winning elections are the proof that the voluntary servitude of the growing conservative masses are just creating conditions for the emergence of characters with Hitler's pathological profile, calling for authoritarian "benevolent" dictators that appropriate self-ownership in the name of common good using violence, false nationalism and racism to propagate fear.

Normally this forces come after the end or scarcity of money or things like it happened in Germany.

As a consequence of the slavish "categoryitis" the scientifically illogical, and as we shall see, often meaningless questions "Where do you live?" "What are you?" "What religion?" "What race?" ’"What nationality?" are all thought of today as logical questions.
By the twenty-first century it either will have become evident to humanity that these questions are absurd and anti-evolutionary or men will no longer be living on Earth. Fear is the actual foundation of conservative authoritarian power to generate false insecurity and instability as a justification to reinforce their power, creating "false escape goats" for the actual state that they created in the first place, and claim now to be the saviors.
They destroy people from other groups as a form of unifying their followers giving them unrestrained and autocratic use of their self-centered authority, and kill all the messengers that do not bring their news."
The blockchain is a gift for planet Earth because it is an alternative to the actual centralized systems and growing despotic authoritarianism.

1- "Starship Earth" and the Decentralized "Engine Rooms"

Continuing the reflections of Yona Friedman about the future of a total decentralized direct-democracy society in "Global City" of "Spaceship Earth".
He explains that the term "Spaceship Earth" is an idea from visionary utopists of freedom and peace, Kenneth Ewart Boulding (January 18, 1910 – March 18, 1993) and later by Richard Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller (July 12, 1895 – July 1, 1983).
"Spaceship Earth" and the Global City ( here and here) are not Utopias, they are facts humanity have to deal with, because we can't run away from the fact that we are in a Starship lost in space, with limited reserves, and we should empower ourselves as the only responsibles for our survival.
Yona says that "Starship Earth" is not an Utopia but the Manual to operate the "Engine Room" must be a realizable utopia to save the planet. - (1)"Operating Manual For Spaceship Earth" By Richard Buckminster Fuller • 1969

"Because our spontaneous initiative has been frustrated, too often inadvertently, in earliest childhood we do not tend, customarily, to dare to think competently regarding our potentials. So let's imagine that we are traveling on this spaceship and watch how the quotidian life would work and guess what is the process of conscious awareness to understand this paradigm:
a) - This Starship is closed in the infinite space, with no more territory or "Wild West" to explore, and no place to run from (maybe Mars),
b) - We need a transparent system of governance of our Starship
c) - The number of passengers in the Starship as a limitation based in the existing reserves that we are destroying and misusing.
Let's see how this "Global City" or "Starship" can be represented by all the passengers.

2 - Free Migration as a self-regulating mechanism

The first fact we have to face is the limitation of the frontiers we can expand for ever, making emigration and immigration impossible for now ( maybe Starships will be build and colonize Mars).

So the only thing we can do is to use the mobility of migrate, change residence or even be a Nomad in the Global City of Starship Earth, making migration one of the biggest realized Utopias of Mankind.
So People or groups migrate in search of better conditions for survival as realized Utopia because all exiled or ex-pats are utopists in their soul.

Migration is a good mechanism of social self-regulation, because in a territory in conflict by the scarcity of things for survival, some man or groups escape and natural equilibrium is re-established because the fight for the things diminishes by the number of humans that leave the community in conflict.
But sometimes the people that escape conflicts and death run to other societies and sometimes they can became aggressors in the society they seek refuge.
This short term conflicts with the new comers can be diluted in the long term, if migration it is not stopped or forbidden.
This means that we would need a good decentralized system of conflict or arbitration management for this problem that seems not to be possible, because the speed of reaction of such a crowd of billions would be very slow and impossible in a short period of time.
This phenomena will happen as well in the emerging Online communities seeing migration to platforms happening to the pioneers and Colonizers of Cyberspace in search of better use cases for the improvement of global wealth.

"The blockchain will be the "Engine Room" to create the pillars for new political-economic decentralized world, and improve social interaction ecosystems to build the Operating Manual of "Starship Earth".

The Internet opened the way to cut the costs and the number of connections and the blockchain lowers the cost of transactions and increase scalability of the system.

"Anyone who believes in indefinite growth in anything physical, on a physically finite planet, is either mad or an economist." Kenneth Ewart Boulding (1910–1993)

The big question is if the influences of people can turn obsolete the actual systems of control of collective will, as well as to stop the destruction of the planet resources and reserves, and the radical change need in actual institutional framework constraint of laws and regulations, standards and compulsory processes, that block the free flow of things and people.
Every community must know and understand the problems the use cases solves and the complex process of generating consensus and coordinate a myriad of groups in an ecosystem working in cooperation and collaboration to generate value.

Individual influence and groups clustering, machines and algorithms to work in a frictionless system by collaboration and consensus, requires a change of mentalities.
Collective community generated legislation and deregulation are the solutions for the initial vision of a human shareable property with no centralized "vampires" of the actual savage capitalist economy.

"..I am tempted to call the open economy the “cowboy economy,” the cowboy being symbolic of the illimitable plains and also associated with reckless, exploitative, romantic, and violent behavior... The closed economy of the future might similarly be called the “spaceman” economy, in which the earth has become a single spaceship, without unlimited reservoirs of anything, ... and in which, therefore, man must find his place in a cyclical ecological system which is capable of continuous reproduction of material form even though it cannot escape having inputs of energy." - (2) Kenneth E. 3 - Migration as the future and planet regulations

The Global City has is limits circumvented by the existing reserves and natural resources and the number of citizens in Spaceship Earth.
The distribution of reserves can be seen in criteria like bio-psycho-social and technological levels.
Talking about the biological needs for food, we know that Japanese need less food than US and European, because the menu of a Civilization reflects the image that that that community have of themselves.

Yona Friedman states that Humanity only eats 20% of the vegetable mass world of our planet and there are a lot of that mass we could eat , meaning that Humanity could change by finding a new "cook book" or "receipt book" for "Starship Earth".
He proposes that a self-reorganization of the Global City should be based on migration for saving the planet from starving.
Centralized Systems don't work for the Global City (a non-realizable utopia), so arbitration decision will happen in any group or group belonging to the Global City.
Every group has his rules (its own political system) different from any other groups.
The human mobility or migration inside the Global City, consists of one person or small group living in one community and moves to another that have an arbitration system of rules that allows any individual to live in co-existence within this new group.
So migration is the self-regulation of a social Eco-system in the "Global City", assuring the diversity of arbitration systems because a generalized one will never work.
Centralized States try to block free migration in the name of stability.
The Centralized States should accept the decision of every internal community that allows the migrated individual or small group inside to try to live and adapt using these new arbitration rules of the new community.

Looking at "Starship Earth" we see that the food that can be stored (grains and cereals) is produced in the Tempered zones that are favorable in the weather.
But taking a deeper look at at this zones we see that they are crowded with the factories, big cities, houses and warehouses, that occupy a lot of arable land.
In this zones people live most of their time inside houses that have to be bigger that the ones in the hot zones, because in there people spend most of their time outside the houses.
In the tempered and colder zones people spend a lot of energy for heating and lights (more hours of night time).
In the hot zones of "Starship Earth" we could produce intensively fruits and vegetables that are difficult to store.
In these zones people are out of their houses most of the time, so they need smaller houses with no heating and less light necessary.
About the industry, solar power shows that they should migrate to hotter and lighter zones cutting costs in energy and light and the most important producing less pollution with this friendly energy supply with "Starship Earth" engines totally solar powered.
This realizable utopia would only be possible if governments opened he barriers to free migration and nomadism.
