PBF shrugs off boxing league ‘reports’
LAHORE: The Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) has categorically denied that it has now not given permission for any boxing league and it will maintain its personal league very quickly.
“There were positive reviews and our media pals are inquiring the reputation of plans for the boxing league in Pakistan. For record, no league has been allowed by PBF. In fact, the Pakistan Boxing Federation has neither formally or informally received any request through any character or organisation to conduct a national or worldwide boxing league,” the PBF announced.
“The reports, that PBF has allowed conduct of a league, are baseless and deceptive consequently all concerned are asked to make sure they don’t fall prey to such hoax as PBF shall now not be liable for any preparations made due to such misrepresentation. PBF is dedicated to take measure against such fallacy and urges to proportion information concerning those perpetrators to be dealt according with the winning laws,” the PBF warned.
“it is reiterated that PBF shall preserve a league as per its constitution to advantage elite and young pugilists however no longer for vested and financial pursuits of few. all the occasions in Pakistan shall be governed through AIBA policies along with however now not restricted to WADA regulations, to protect our pugilists from scandalous and misleading elements who are most effective seeking economic and private benefits instead of promotion of Boxing in Pakistan,” it concluded.
