The Classics Never Die - The Dave Clarke Five

in #music6 years ago

Thank god it's Friday, because that means tomorrow night I will get to listen in to the Saturday night jukebox again.
It's a real treat getting to listen to 6 hours of non stop classics, and they always mix up the jukebox so you never quite know what your going to get.

A bit like my classics never die music series, you just don't know what I'm going to throw in :)
This time around I have a few more treats for you to sit back and listen, hmm and I just had a thought I'm going to start putting all these tracks in to a playlist on youtube. Then after each post I will update the playlist.

So let's not delay and get stuck into some more great tracks from The Dave Clark Five.

☠️ The Dave Clark Five - Glad All Over ☠️

The Dave Clark Five were an English pop rock group.
This is one of their greatest tracks ever in my opinion, it's up there and rivals many of the most popular hits from the 60's.
It's easy to see why it was so popular at the time, that beat is just amazing. When ever it comes on I start bopping my head left to right and if I'm driving I'm always slapping the steering wheel to the beat.
The lyrics are also fantastic and a real testament to the love era. They just don't make tracks like this any more.

☠️ The Dave Clark Five - Bits and Pieces ☠️

Here is another fine example of a track that makes me start bouncing around like a maniac when I'm in the car, or at work lol.
The Dave Clarke Five used the feet stamping in some of there songs, which sounds amazing and really makes that drum beat pop.
This song is no exception with that classical feet stamping sound that I love about The Dave Clarke Five.
With tracks like these it's no wonder The Dave Clarke Five got inducted in to the rock and roll hall of fame.

☠️ The Dave Clark Five - Because ☠️

Here is another classic from the Dave Clark Five.
This track is completely different from the first two I posted, it's a bit more of an easy listening track which has more of a 50's sound to it I think. It's definitely doesn't have that rock n roll feel to it.

I enjoy tracks like this one though, I find them to be very soothing and good for the soul.
I'll have to admit I haven't heard all of The Dave Clark Five's music yet, they released quite a few albums. So there may be some other really great track I'm missing here. I just go with what I have discovered through listening to the classics.
