Getting into a blacklist of any premium service provider on Steemit or Steem Blockchain would be the last thing you want to happen to yourself. It's highly demotivating to get deprived of such great services which can help you perform exceptionally well on this great platform. I am making this post to help out users who are in the same situation and they think that they falsely got caught in it especially after the recent update in @minnowbooster's services. Abusers and Spammers please stay away because you cannot get out of the blacklist ever and you guys deserve to be there forever.

A few hours ago once such thing happened to me. While making a lease request on @minnowbooster I found out that I got blacklisted from using their services. My money was refunded which I transferred to their account through their SP Lease service via this link - https://www.minnowbooster.net/lease (Also, check the screenshot below)

The memo mentions that if you keep on sending them SBDs or STEEM through direct transfers or via some other application like https://steembottracker.com/ or via their own website, they will stop refunding your amount after 9 attempts. Actually after 10 attempts because I already made one as you can see in the above screenshot.

How To Get Yourself Out Of The Blacklist

I am listing down the steps that I followed to successfully got myself "Active" again. You can also follow them and try your luck -

STEP 1

The first step is to find out why you got blacklisted. And for that you need to see if you have violated any @minnowbooster's Terms Of Service. The following is the list of TOS I could find on MB's Discord Channel jotted down by @reggaemuffin. You can find the link to their discord channel in the FAQ section of their website https://www.minnowbooster.net/faq or just click the source of below image -

If you found out that you have violated any of these terms, don't even bother going ahead.

STEP 2

Once I was done reading all TOS, I went ahead to @minnowbooster's Steemit Account and read their recent post about the recent change in their policy. READ HERE. It clearly says that buying upvotes automatically is a breach of TOS and you will be banned forever. Recently we have observed that their are bots who are continuously transferring money to other upvoting bots such as MB to make profits and constant upvotes on their shitty posts. Now to fight spam, MB had to do it and according to me, that's a remarkable move. If you are not abusing MB this way then move to the next Step.

STEP 3

Go to MB's discord channel as mentioned in STEP 1 and you will be able to see two channels where you can get help.

• #mb-abuse : This is where you should put your request if you think you are falsely blacklisted due to recent update in their code to fight Abusers and Spammers.
• #minnowbooster-help : Ignore this channel for other queries related to MB services. Do not post any message here regarding the blacklist. Please keep it clean for other requests.

I found a message by @swissclive stating in #mb-abuse channel. This is also pinned by @locke so that you can easily see it

Now it's clear from the above screenshot that they have already identified the problem and trying their best to remove the innocent from the blacklist. Once they will make an update in the service, they will notify in the channel. It might take 2-7 days but still this timeline is not confirmed as of yet. Do not worry, just be patient and you will be fine.

Also, as per one of the mods I could have the chance to talk with - "Blacklist will be dropped very soon. Everyone will get a second chance and A new system is getting ready in the meanwhile which will help MB to fight abuse. We are still working out the details but it shouldn't be more than a few days for 2nd chances all around."

TIP: Please note that you need to set your Discord username as Steemit Username to get a customer service by MB discord.

STEP 4

Now if you think you are innocent or in doubt that you are not then you can make a request in the channel by sending your wallet's link https://steemit.com/@hungryhustle/transfers. This will help the team to quickly analyse your situation and your behavior towards MB services.

But before that, please make sure 100 times you did not abuse the system. Use your common sense and your own discretion. Please do not spam or bombard the channel with lots of messages because that might overshadow someone's honest request. Post just once and wait patiently for the mods to reply and take action on your request.

Alternatively, you can wait for their next upgrade as suggested in Step 3. I see some people are being disrespectful in the channel and posting their request continuously again and again. I cannot stress this enough that we need to respect MODs and everyone else and wait patiently for the resolution. I guess, once a spammer is always a spammer and if you do not change that quickly, you don't deserve to be on the platform.

When I made my request, there were few only a handful of users who were complaining about getting blacklisted. My request was quickly noticed by @locke and the @furious-one (Superhuman Mods of MB Support Team). Immediately they recognized that I was falsely dropped into the blacklisted. They fixed it in no time and I am back on track again. They even apologized for it but I think they don't need to do it at all as you can clearly see how actively they are participating in clearing all the issues. Kudos!
