'Magical Moments' with 'Nature's Beauty' and today's 'Color Challenge' of Friday Sky Blue.
MAGICAL MOMENT No.1.
The Roseville lake: Shrouded in the first winter fog. Everything was still and serene. The magic of nature was at play.
Dew drops sparked rainbow light. Hues subdued in the mist. Native ducks gliding effortlessly upon the lake, with barely a ripple.
MAGICAL MOMENT No.2.
The sun forged her way through the mist. Within a very short space of time the mists had completely parted. A vanished dream. Now revealing the clearest and brightest sky blue.
Magic sang such a vibrant song to both Sky and Candle Banksias: Illuminating Golden Yellow. Amplifying Sky Blue.

On the same morning I photographed the series: Webs of Crystal Light.
Nocturnal spiders had spread veils over twigs, native grasses and wildflowers, all around the lake. Veils now bejeweled, as the first rays of the sun forging through the fog, fell upon them.

On the same morning I also photographed the series: Morning Dew on the Banksias.
The Golden Banksias: SPARKLING in the sunlight. A dew drop on the end of every stamen. Flaming red-orange and deep russet brown candles with dark blue-green needle-like foliage with sap green new growth tips.

I feel blessed to be living in a place where I can be in the natural bushland. And be around friends who believe it's so important for artists and photographers to share the beauty that is here ~ In order to protect and preserve it.
I really enjoy connecting thoughts and words to these images too ~ So lovely to feel they are appreciated.
My ideas for 'Magical Moments' are still evolving. I've worked in galleries and at times would have liked to have had my own. This will be the prefect opportunity to put different ideas into practice. For now, I'm also learning a lot by participating in other people's challenges and projects.

True. The way we respond to the 'magic' in something, is a reflection of something within us, that perceives the 'magic' ~ A something we were all born with.
Always wonderful to see a clear bright blue sky. Grateful to experience those magical moments: Enhanced by the beauty of the warmth of the sun and golden yellow.
