Walk.with.me #12: Phantasialand (Part 4) - Water Play and a Slice of Hobbiton
In the far ends of Fantasy,
It was like ambling through Hobbiton. Except that this little slice of Hobbiton exists outside of New Zealand and away from the bright colours and noise of central Fantasy!
Take a look at this little dwelling and see why I say this! I half-expected a hairy-footed hobbit or a gnome (for all you kids who grew up on Enid Blyton's magical tales) to pop out and say ‘hello’ ! All around us, lush Shire pasture greenery stirred gently in the breeze.
Time for Water Play
This gateway leads to a dock where warriors board a wooden boat and embark on an interactive water game.
The boat runs on a track laid just under the water surface and takes you through a battle zone of targets.
The interactivity was down for the afternoon, but we were still free to shoot unlimited pond water at every target that our boat passed by! Unfortunately, the targets could not shoot back nor make any noises.
And pummel them with our water guns we did!!
If you're wondering if we were the only ones playing, we were not! There were others in identical boats joining our fleet's fight to overcome the silent targets with streams of water.
There were also big fish who were probably trying to avenge their poor plasticified friends.
After numerous bends, we approached the dock again. Finally! Our arms were battle-weary from manning those water guns without break!
We disembarked, and I had to hurry us out of there before somebody saw my little bro's sneaky attempt to steal a barrel. =O
On the way back, we saw two little sisters playing 'House' at the little home in the woods. How sweet
Rusty regretted his pretend water break at the Wakobato Froggy Fountain.
Here he is pretending that plastic fish are ponky too. . . He's always a willing model for my photos, but so full of nonsense at times!!
The pathway took us back through a boulevard of joker standing lamps. Rusty chose to give some love rather than to emulate one of the jokers.
This post is getting too long, so you'll have to wait till Part 5 to see what else we did before we went back to Wuze Town in the center of Fantasy.

Hehe we fully expected to get wet and cold, and dressed for it..think that's why we weren't really bothered by it! :))
