Motivation - How to Motivate and Stay Motivated ?!

in #life6 years ago

To stay motivated always presents a problem. We are constantly struggling with negative thoughts, anxiety and fear of the future. Everyone occasionally faces doubts and affection, but what distinguishes successful people is the ability to separate such thoughts and keep moving forward.

For lack of motivation there is no simple solution. Because once you win this problem, he will appear again in the future. The key is understanding the thoughts and the way they affect emotions.

Everyone should learn to nurture motivational thoughts, neutralize the negative, and focus on the tasks ahead, and stop the demoralizing thoughts before they become dominant.

Reasons why we lose motivation:

-1- Lack of Confidence - If I do not believe I will succeed, what is the purpose of the attempt.
-2- Lack of focus - If I do not know exactly what I want to do.
-3- Lack of direction - If I do not know how to do something, how to motivate it.

-1- How to Increase Confidence?

The fearsome motivation killer is a lack of self-confidence. Lack of confidence usually occurs in moments when you are just focusing on what you want and not thinking about what you have. When you just think about what you want, your brain automatically creates an explanation and creates answers to questions you do not already have. And all this reduces self-confidence, creates bad habits, encourages jealousy, envy to those who have it.

The way you can get rid of these thoughts is to create a positive attitude and become grateful for what you have. Change the focus of your desire to what you already have. Make a mental list of things you are proud of, your gratitude, past success, and current strengths. That way you will understand how competent you are and how successful you are. This will restore your confidence and restore motivation.

-2- How to focus

The second motivational killer is the lack of focus. How often do you prefer to focus on what you do not want, but to a specific goal? As a rule, people think in times of fear. We are afraid of poverty. We're afraid he will not answer us. We're afraid we'll be embarrassed. We're afraid we'll stay alone. The problem in this kind of thinking is that it does not encourage us to action. Instead of doing something, fear draws motivation.

That is why the first step in drawing from such thoughts is defining goals. After defining the goals, the actions that need to be made to achieve the goal are made of themselves. If you are afraid of poverty, create a plan to increase your income. This can be a return to school, looking for a new job, finding honorary occupation ... The goal is to transform the desire into concrete steps.

-3- Development of direction

If focus means having a goal, direction means having a day-to-day strategy to achieve the goal. Lack of direction kills motivation and leads to delays. An example is people who want to have a popular blog, but instead of writing everyday texts (what should their strategy be) they spend reading reading someone else's blogs. This of course kills them motivation.

The key to defining directions is to identify activities that will lead to success. For each goal, find activities that will surely pay off, those that you may pay off and those that can only swallow you in vain.

When your motivation begins to weaken, re-review your plan and add at least two new paid activities that can help you reach your goal.

Tips on how to stay motivated and finish what you have started

Probably there are reasons why so many people give up on projects that have begun or at some point feel overworked, frustrated and stressful, to realize that it is not worth the effort and effort.

In such a state, it is normal that enthusiasm is scandalized, and it is usually thought about the withdrawal from the project.

What to do in such a situation?

Here are five tips to help keep you productive and to motivate you to finish what you are doing and to enjoy the process of doing a job, not just waiting for the goal.

-1- Break the big project into smaller pieces

The size and type of the project is irrelevant. If you want to be more productive and remain motivated to the end, you simply have to break down the project into smaller portions.

If you break the project into smaller pieces, it will not seem so hard and even, and more importantly, when you finish one step and before you go to the next you will feel a sense of satisfaction, achievement and progress, which is psychologically acting as a good motivator.

This will motivate you to motivate yourself to continue to accept the job, but it would be good for you to earn yourself a deserved prize yourself. If anything else go to the coffee machine and celebrate success.

How to find motivation and work something conscientiously, the best we can, if it is not directly related to the goal we are going to or aspire to. If that's what we're doing just by the side, until we find something better.

If you are a materialist, your answer will be money. So you will work on the principle of "how much money so much music".

If you and your money are not the most important thing to motivate, try to find it useful.

-2- Use the snowball effect to your advantage

What does the effect of a snowball have with motivation? Find the most interesting part of the project and start here. In this way you will do one piece easily and easily, it will increase your self-esteem and level of motivation. Like a snowball that rolls and rises, your work will be tied to the first done with pleasure.

-3- Avoid interfering with tasks

You may not be able to avoid side-by-side interruptions while you are dealing with something, but at least you can stop yourself asking a few jobs at the same time.

Focus on one task and make it the best you can.

Not only will you be more effective in this way than the level of your motivation will increase, so you will definitely finish the project faster.

-4- Take a break

If at any point in the project you feel that your motivation is landing, perhaps because there is too much work ahead of you or is more difficult and demanding than you expected, we suggest that you temporarily get out of business.

The key is to turn the attention away from the project. This will reduce the frustration and nervousness that you feel. In that way, when you return to work, you will be more relaxed, more fresh and willing to work.

-5- Seriously ... take a break.

Minimum should take a 5-minute break after every 45 minutes of work. And if possible, get away from your work desk and project.
