Job Promotions are made by Companies, not by the Market

Constantly I am ask or posed the same Question or Problem: I am searching for a Manager Job. I am not a Manager but I want a Promotion
Well dear friends, Promotion is a function of Performance, and the only one that will know your Performance is your own company. The market do know about such a thing. The Market may know the Performance of the Company but not yours.
Now, Take the second Bullet: Why in the World I am going to Promote some extranger from the Market, bypassing all internal employees? Do I want to create a Morale Problem? That may happen in private family controlled companies but no in corporate environments.
If I were to promote someone, I will do it with someone internal, even if I have to hire him/her later for poor performance and in that case I would be the only one responsible for making so bad decision.
Promotions is a function of Performance and Internal Recruiting, if such a thing do exist in a company. Normally called Development, but more associated with Technical Learning than with Management Training for the Future.
No problem with wanting to be a Manager, but then better do your work of selecting the right companies within the right industries. You need to search for a Company with a lot of Competitors and good market size or maybe an start up, if you are a hands on type of employee.
But before embarking in such a mission, better make sure to understand what it takes to be a Manager and what is expected of you: Strong Technical Knowledge in a given domain, People Skills, Generalists Mind, a Good doses of Intelligence, a Flexible Action Oriented Personality and experience handling several people. Management is about executing Goals and Objectives through other People.

Good. That is the way to report. I am located at -4 Easter Time. While here is 7:23AM, there in Mexico is 5:23AM. Mexico is a Special Market Target for me. I have run several searches over there, and I do have a more powerful product then the Relocation they sell over there, and my price may be cheaper. No idea yet how much Mexican Market charges for Relocations.
Additional I can give you momentum in my twitter posts. I have many acquaintances who use steemit and then they are my twitter readers.
I use Twitter, but I abandoned it back in 2012, after getting sick of so many bots following me. Currently I have about 8,000 Followers, But I have not invest my time there. To me it is a waste.

Tengo dos cuentas en Twitter, una habló sobre cuentas en Blockchain (SOLA) Está apenas la estoy conociendo, (STEEMIT). Ahí tengo seguidores en total 506 seguidores, de los cuales con los que he platicado al rededor de 31 personas son usuarios de SOLA y STEEMIT. La otra cuenta habló sobre Tecnología en general (PRODUCTOS DE LANZAMIENTO DE DIFERENTES MARCAS) con respecto a mi punto de vista y si los he probado o no, y ahí tengo 380 seguidores y de ellos como 4 son seguidores por STEEMIT. No son muchos, pero sirve que más gente se une al mundo Blockchain.

That is so true. When working at a job, it's important to be in a place where promotions are possible. I worked at a call center and while promotions were possible internally, they were not for me. Either it was too demanding for me, so I chose not to apply, or I applied, but the positiong I applied on would have taken me away from answering the phone all the time and I was one of their rare bilingual employees able to answer some of the most complicated calls. I was stuck. I did not want to higher position they kept suggesting I apply for, and they did not want to give me the higher position that actually interested me. So I left.
Of course, now I work only for myself and am self-emplyed. The only promotions I get are the one I give myself, I must manage myself and I make a lot less income and it's a lot more work, but it feel a lot mroe rewarding because I am doing what I love.
You not only need to deserve a promotion, you need to be somehàwhere that makes you feel good even without that promotion.
