This is my post for the third step of achievements.. Thanks for reaching my posts and for the continuous support. okey.. let's talk about Content Etiquette. Content Etiquette means the ethical rules or manners you should follow as a writer.In this post I'm going to tell you about plagiarism and citations.

There are lot of definitions for the word plagiarism..
"Plagiarism can be defined as presenting of another person's ideas, thoughts, language usage, or literal expressions as another person's actual work. "
Source Plagiarism can't be directly defined as a crime.But it's 100% unethical.
Plagiarism is a very serious problem in research level. When publishing academic papers , when applying for patient licenses.. plagiarism is a serious matter. And it's very significant to understand this and avoid this in writings.

But there are some countries like Poland , India which consider plagiarism as a crime. But we have to understand plagiarism can be happen non intentionally too. Even we write our idea using our own words .. as you know as a blogger there is a certain percentage of plagiarism. But as writers we always have to consider this factor and minimize that percentage.
Citation means a another topic very related to Plagiarism. We can define it as a reference to a source you use in your work / creation / research. There are various definitions for citations .. check them here : Wikipedia , Oxford. The significance of citation is we can give the credit to the first author. It's a very valuable quality we should practice as an author.
