"Forewarned is forearmed" says the popular saying. So, DON'T be surprised like this kitten dear community. Follow these few basic and recommend ethical rules to have a harmony and success in Steemit. Pay attention to every DON'T I'm telling in the post (this is just etiquette, it isn't necessarily to be very strict with some of them):

🚫DON'T plagiarize in this blockchain: Please create content from your own brain and, if this is the case, name the proper credits for every element you use from others such as texts, images, links, etcetera. All with the respective markdowns for citations. Is not possible merely to copy/paste and pretend that nobody will notice about it. That's the main function of curators. They ensure that people is nurturing this space with original and exclusive posts.

🚫DON'T randomly post or resteem: Try to be consistent with the community's context every time you write, with a well related texts and the correct tags. The same should be considered with your blog, I mean, provide transparency and let know your followers what type of content are you going to publish in order to show some respect towards them. So, dumb posts with non sense that nobody really cares are not necessary either.

🚫DON'T just upvote because yes: You must read the text or see at least the multimedia elements such as photographies or videos and leave a comment if you feel you have something good to say. The same could be applied for not following someone if you won't interact with him/her or being interested in their contents.

🚫DON'T downvote with no reason: It's very annoying when you get a negative vote but the person didn't take the time to provide any valid explanation. Take in count to make constructive comments also, avoiding critiques without good arguments about works from others.

🚫DON'T bother too much: Asking for votes? Followers? Tokens? Leaving links in comments? Or touching a lot the whales or higher SP holders? No way... That will fed up everybody unless you've directly requested for doing it. You can't bribe or persuade them either in some way with your wallet (go then to a trade market, of course that's allowed).

🚫DON'T be impolite in this ecosystem: Respect and tolerance must be making room, having a welcoming space. Use good expressions without bad words or explicit sex and violence sentences. For that, create contents with NSFW tag.

🚫DON'T live in an isolated bubble: Be participative with others members to build good communications over here and encourage them to do activities into the platform. So, do not ignore others. Be polite to answer every positive comment you receive if it's necessary, because time is a no removable resource. Consider all the people that stopped by to invest their time on your work. And try to support new upcoming people and welcome them. Vote and comment their posts when you see great contents from them.

Well, in summary and once again, remember this saying:

"Forewarned is forearmed"

I hope this helps you to have a great experience. I wanna to address the opportunity to say thank you to @cryptokannon and the Steemit Team for making possible the guidelines for beginners to fulfill tasks and then understand this space that is still new for me and others.

Like always, I wish you a very great day. I hope you enjoyed this content, looking forward for seeing you once again through the interaction in Steemit. Send her best regards:
