Saludos a todos los steemitas del mundo. Una vez más me encuentro en esta iniciativa de Arte y Escritura para presentarles a un artista ruso que reside en España y a quien se le considera uno de los mejores pintores rusos de todos los tiempos. Se trata de Vladimir Volegov.

Volegov nació en Jabàrovsk (Rusia), el 19 de diciembre de 1957. Desde muy pequeño comenzó a dibujar y en la adolescencia acentuó su gusto por la pintura. Fue así como asistió a la escuela de arte "Krivoj Rog". Cuando cumplió la mayoría de edad fue al ejército.

A su regreso del ejército cursó estudios de arte en el Instituto Poligráfico de Ivov (En la Antigua Unión Soviética), de donde egresó en el año 1986.

Desde el año 1984 comenzó a participar en Concursos internacionales destacando como uno de los pintores contemporáneos más brillantes de Rusia.

Para el año 1988 decidió trasladarse a Moscú y allá se dio a conocer como diseñador gráfico de vallas de publicidad, de historietas y de portadas de cassette y de discos compactos.

Pero no conforme con el renombre adquirido, en el año 1990 decide viajar por Europa Occidental para dedicarse a pintar retratos en las calles de Barcelona, Viena y Berlín, entre otras.

Su estilo se caracteriza por ser glamoroso y realista. Sus temas predilectos son la belleza femenina, la infancia en entornos románticos y la maternidad.

En el año 2015 fue invitado a participar en la exposición aniversario de la Galería Water House en Santa Bárbara (California).

Es un artista a quien le apasiona enseñar. Por ello ha diseñado tutoriales y talleres gratuitos para mostrar técnicas de pintura. Algunos de estos están disponibles en la web. Actualmente reside en España.

Greetings to all the steemites of the world. Once again I find myself in this Art and Writing initiative to introduce you to a Russian artist who lives in Spain and who is considered one of the best Russian painters of all time. This is Vladimir Volegov.

Volegov was born in Khabarovsk (Russia), on December 19, 1957. From a very young age he began to draw and in adolescence he accentuated his taste for painting. This is how he attended the "Krivoj Rog" art school. When he came of age he went to the army.

Upon his return from the army, he studied art at the Ivov Polygraphic Institute (in the former Soviet Union), from where he graduated in 1986.

Since 1984 he began to participate in international competitions, standing out as one of the most outstanding contemporary painters in Russia.

In 1988 he decides to move to Moscow and there he excels as a graphic designer of billboards, comics and compact disc covers.

But not satisfied with the reputation he had acquired, in 1990 he decided to travel through Western Europe to dedicate himself to painting portraits in the streets of Barcelona, ​​Vienna and Berlin, among others.

His style is characterized by being glamorous and realistic. His favorite themes are female beauty, childhood in romantic settings and motherhood.

In 2015 he was invited to participate in the anniversary exhibition of the Water House Gallery in Santa Barbara (California).

He is an artist who is passionate about teaching. For this reason, it has designed free tutorials and workshops to teach painting techniques. Some of these are available on the web.
