Weird Things are Happening

I have a desktop computer which is a bit old now and it is running slow. Sometimes weird things are happening which make me wonder if I have an unwanted visitor who has gained access to my computer.
This picture is a case in point. I can't remember even pulling this up lately. I was gifted this avatar a long time ago - almost one year - when I was on a podcast with Judithe Registre. Actually, we were on each other's podcasts. We had both been speakers at the Podcast Movement Conference in Anaheim and had a lot to say about utilizing podcasts to bring about social change.

Back to the weirdness.
Just now, I decided to publish a post from my desktop computer. Lately, I have been mostly using my laptop because it is faster and it is portable. I can sit outside and am not stuck indoors when the sun is shining.
So, I click on the little icon - you know the pencil symbol on Steemit. And what do I see?
The Avatar. The picture you are seeing above.
I swear I have no recollection to even have opened it in months...
Is it me? Or are there ghosts living either in my house or in my computer?

Seriously, is anything else weird happening? Is it a Windows or Mac machine? Do you have any antivirus/malware software running? We could chat on discord about it if you want - I'm a computer guru in my other life. 😁

It's either the Mandela Effect, or you've slipped into a parallel dimension, one in which that picture is the one you regularly use.
Either way, no big deal. :-D
