ULog 10 Musing on Consumer Holidays, Chicks, Dogs and Gardens

Some musings about how holidays like Father's day got started. I love getting together with family but do not like how we have been brainwashed into thinking that there has to be a gift.
Buy more!!! Really? Do we need to?
NO!! there is so much pressure to perform, to buy that "special" gift for Fathers Day, Mothers Day, Valentines Day and so many more "Days" industry has thought up for us to feel obligated to spend money.
As more and more people are struggling to make ends meet, it is time to say no to over-consumption.
Mother Earth will love us for it as well!!!
Of course, there has to be an update on baby chickens - this time the older one - and a dog shows up as well :)
