3 Platform video games you should play
Platform games have been for decades a source of entertainment for many gamers, from the appearance of the Atari 2600 until today have been seen a lot of video games of this style, some became historical reference, others went unnoticed, but each of them were played by different people in the world.
This genre evolved over time, moving from the 2D world to 3D, so there are a variety of titles that probably as players we have not yet experienced, today I will present you 3 platform video games that you should try.
Jak and Daxter was developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation 2 in 2001, is a video game that is full of puzzles, mysteries, secrets and a great world to discover with an excellent gameplay, with a story that is not very innovative, but is essential as it gives the necessary life to the game.
It is worth mentioning that it is the first of a trilogy which is very interesting, upon finishing its first videogame you will inevitably want to play its sequels, which are of excellent quality, it goes without saying that many of the developers of the videogame Crash Bandicoot worked on this videogame.
Currently its trilogy is available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 fully remastered, if you want to play it with modern graphics you have that option that falls like a ring to your finger.
Rayman since he appeared in the world of videogames has become a fairly recognized character, has also gone through different graphic environments, both in 2D and 3D, the latter being the least used in his franchise.
Among all their games there is one that was quite endorsed by the critics and received in a very good way by the gamer community, is Rayman Legends, which rescues many features of video games of yesteryear, but with some very outstanding graphics at the time of its releas
It is available in different systems such as PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, so getting it is not a difficult task. Its gameplay, difficulty, animations, among other features make it a very attractive video game, fun addictive, you will not stop playing it until you see its great end.
The Heart of Darkness style is personally one of my favorites, very similar to Another World but with small differences, was developed by Amazing Studio and released for PlayStation 1 and PC in 1998, with a quite entertaining story where science fiction is the main protagonist.
For its graphics, the technique used in Donkey Kong Country by Snes was used, the pre-rendered one, achieving some very striking effects that today do not cease to surprise any player.
Its cover may give you to understand that it is a childish game, but once you enter in its world makes you understand the opposite, the ways in which you can die are really frightening, in addition to having a fairly high difficulty which increases the hours of the gameplay considerably.
