Here is today's prompt word: 5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: crazy

My #freewrite entry for today.

So many thoughts and stories swirling in her head. So many.

On that day none were coming out but in pieces.

small pieces.

The grass was pink and the moon was blue.......... the birds were walking and the fish were flying.......

She didn't know what was wrong with her on this day of days......

The world was going as normal around her but in her head, she wondered if she was going a bit, well, not crazy, but maybe a bit batty in the head.

She glanced around her as the pelicans talked to each other in the car and wondered if maybe she should call her Grandmother and ask her advice....

Maybe it was time. Time for the changing. Maybe she had read the date wrong.

Her Gran'ma would know when she was born. All the stories said she was there.

She wondered then if they told those stories over and over to her to cover up what really happened the day she was born.

Dare she call and ask?

She knew if she asked she would finally be told the truth. Could she handle it? Was she ready?

She knew deep down they were all waiting for her to be ready...........
