Toothache Part 5: The Glasses (5 minute freewrite)

Ok @mariannewest, you asked for a part 5, so that is what you have.

The original trilogy was about a man's fear of going to the dentist. He turns to the dark side when he is scared (Kylo). However, the man he wishes to be is Austin Powers. He thinks the dentist is "a bit of alright." He tells her (without the drugs) and he gets a very nice surprise.

In Part 4, the author just cares about getting paid. Out character Kylo / Austin makes a very boring trip to the dentist. The author ends the story by looking for inspiration by the beach, which he does get eventually. However, this is not inspiriation to improve the story.

Part 5: The Glasses

Part 4 was awful. The writer of the story decided that he no longer cared for his character and had run out of ideas. He wrote a story anyway because he knew he'd get paid.

But now he had feelings of regret. He had another brainwave on the beach. “Let's do what George Lucas does and move it forward a generation. People won't complain that much because it is not Star Wars.”

This time Mr Powers was in need of glasses.

Actually, that is not true. He has to go back to the dentist.

“That's cheating man,” says Austin Powers. “you just lied about needing glasses so you can cheat the prompt.”

“You assume too much,” replied Kylo.

But there is always one good thing. “The dentist; she's is a bit of alright.”

Mr Powers arrives at the reception.

“Hello, you can go straight in,” said the receptionist. “I'm off home for the weekend.”

Mr Powers walks in, where he is greeted by his wife, some food, a bottle of wine and two glasses.

“Happy anniversary darling. Ben and Rey are staying over friends for the night. Shall we take these home?”

I wonder if Kylo was right and you assumed too much.
