Today is Freedom Friday, a wonderful initiative that was created by the beautiful @eaglespirit and supported by the wonderful @freedomtribe. Each week @eaglespirit chooses a topic for us to discuss in relation to freedom, this weeks topic is Freedom Of Information , which is in collaboration with @InformationWar. Because that is exactly what is going on with all the information that is available right now, a war. And who is going to win?

In truth, we are living in a very exciting time, where we can easily access information at the touch of a button. There is so much information available all around us. Everywhere we go we are bombarded, newspapers, t.v, advertising, the internet, in some ways there is too much information available. Because you really need to know where to look in order to receive the correct information, in order to receive the TRUTH. One can easily get manipulated by whatever information is being shared. It really depends on where you choose to source said information.

Mainstream T.V and Newspapers, spend their time feeding people what they think they want to hear, whilst at the same time creating and maintaining a culture of fear. I have experienced this first hand with some of my family, when I have discussed with them some of my life choices. The concern they express, when you tell them that no, I will not be vaccinating my children, yet if they chose to research it further and discover what is actually inside them, they would probably agree with me. But for some, even suggesting something like that, is taken as a personal attack, as if my mistrust of the health system means I mistrust them.

But I am so grateful to have had access to all that information, to be able to make informed decisions about how to best raise my children. I instinctively knew I would never vaccinate my children, but knowing all ingredients involved in producing them definitely has made my life easier, especially when dealing with people who openly disagree with you. You need to be able to back up your reasons, because just saying it didn't feel right, gets you labelled as an irresponsible parent. The thing is, so many people have no idea what is in vaccinations and some are so overwhelmed that they refuse to believe you! That the thing that comes with so much information, there is research to suit everyone. I can know my shit when it comes to why I don't vaccinate. But then so can the person who says I should. So much information on offer! Is it easier to believe that your doctor has your best interests at heart or has the pharmaceutical companies best interests at heart? Who are the real drug pushers within out society?

I am a huge advocate for Freedom of Birth, for every woman to have the freedom to choose where and how she gives birth. But the reality is that so much information is being pushed onto mothers, on to parents. But, it is all information that promotes medical intervention and medical procedures. Women are being told that the safest place to give birth is within a hospital. But is it? if you actually chose to research all the interventions being offered and performed on women routinely before and during birth, you probably would not agree with that Statement. But so many do not, and even though there is information available, it is not easy to access and as a result it is not being shared. Why, because it goes against what the medical profession and pharmaceutical companies are saying.

I wrote an article two days ago, What We are Not Being Told! The Effects OF Medical Intervention During Birth- Pitocin Is Now Linked to Postpartum Depression!, which is a perfect example of how we are being kept in the dark about the Real efforts of synthetic treatments routinely preformed on birthing mothers. Imagine the effect it has on the babies, because whatever a mother receives, the baby receives also.

It really amazes me how some people are so sceptic of natural medicine, yet are happy to be used as guinea pigs when it comes to modern medicine. That they are happy for their children to have toxic ingredients injected into their bodies. How well this information war has gone for Big Pharma. But then they have all the money and can manipulate the media, manipulate the people and that is the problem. The information that mainstream society receives, is the information that has been chosen for them to receive. There is no freedom then, is there?

Anything that the big companies cannot make money on is publicly debunked. Just look at what has been happening on social media, groups and individuals have been blocked, have been shut down. Why, because they are rocking the boat, they are questioning those in power and providing the truth. They are trying to empower us the people. Everything that the establishment promotes from the foods we eat, the medicine we consume, the box we stare at, they are all geared at DUMBING US DOWN and keeping us down. Feeding us what they want us to know, restricting our choices and regulating our behaviour.

It is up to us be been informed and to stay informed, we should not be looking to others to do so. Being part of Steemit offers us this opportunity to stay informed with people from all over the world and share first hand knowledge/information, with no need for the middle man. @naturalmedicine and @informationwar are 2 such communities here on Steemit that are all about empowering us. Of course there are also some online there are some grassroots, independent media collectives that are trying to get the real information out there, so that people can be informed. For sure it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you want to know what is happening on the ground around the world, by those who are actively fighting the system then this is the site to go too. I want to know, I want to hear what activists are saying and doing, so I chose that to hear my news and be informed. I want to hear it from the mouths of people like me.

So yes Freedom Of Information, where can I see that at? Cos in my experience it takes a lot of time and work to get to the truth and when you get it, you are treated as an enemy of the State. So where is the Freedom in That?
