I have always loved to cook, and hadn't really done to much of it here in paradise up to now. So after the day I experienced yesterday (read here), I was ready to relax at my Condo and prepare an awesome meal here. I checked my cupboard and I had just the right things for a wonderful meal.

For those readers just finding this series, @paradise-found is on a 21 day holiday in the Caribbean on Roatan Island, Honduras. Roatan is the paradise I have found, and the reason for my Steemit name.

I boiled some brown rice, and started simmering some chopped onions and green peppers.

Soon I added the chicken and let the leftover wings cook with the veggies.

Ready to eat

This meal was fantastic, I love chicken and rice with veggies.
And then I cleaned up the kitchen and did the dishes.

I'm getting used to using the propane oven and stove. As here they have no direct gas lines, and electric rates are very high. Most everyone uses Propane. ~ Paradise Found
