Mayonnaise is cooked with yolks, whole eggs, there is mayonnaise and no eggs at all, as well as vegan sauce, which may not be mayonnaise, but it is still called that way. The basis of this mayonnaise is unchanged - it's fresh eggs and good vegetable oil. All the rest - salt, sugar, lemon juice, mustard - is added for taste. Try to cook according to the classic recipe at least once. I am sure you will like it very much. Even I added garlic to the sauce, it was very tasty and raises appetite in any dish.

Ingredients for the recipe of homemade mayonnaise

To prepare mayonnaise at home, you will need:

  • egg - 2 pieces

  • vegetable oil - 400 ml

  • mustard ready - 1 tsp.

  • salt, sugar - to taste

  • ground black pepper - to taste (you can not add)

  • garlic - 10 teeth

How to make homemade mayonnaise.

For the preparation of mayonnaise you need a mixer or blender and deep dishes (bowl or glass from the blender). Eggs for mayonnaise should be fresh, with a bright yolk. You will need both yolk and protein.

We break 2 eggs. Then we add salt, sugar, mustard and garlic. I used an ordinary jar, and then I poured into a mug.

Salt to taste.

Add the sugar a teaspoonful.

Add a teaspoon of mustard.

Add 10 cloves of garlic. Garlic must be crushed.

All this was mixed a little and poured into a mug.

We add ground black pepper to taste.

All this is well mixed with a mixer.

Now the most important point. In a thin trickle (in very small portions) add 400 g of vegetable oil. Mixer speed up to maximum and mix well.

When you mix the mass will change color, will become thick, homogeneous. Beat mayonnaise until the mass evenly thickens to the desired consistency. If mayonnaise turns liquid, pour a little more oil and whisk again. Here's what I got.
