Today I decided to write you a bit about the tofu, which appears from time to time in my recipes. A lot of people wrote that they never ate tofu or really do not know what it is. 

Tofu is a food cultivated by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. *source

You can buy tofu: 

• natural 
• natural with herbs, e.g. basil 
• smoked 
• marinated 
• and:  silken tofu, silky tofu, very soft and delicate, perfect for desserts and creams.

My favorite way to prepare tofu is marinating and baking:
