I travel the world Part 94: Ristorante Cantina Cantarini
Eat where the locals eat...
My friend took me to this very old Italian Restaurant in Rome. He is a friend of the owner for many years and goes there frequently. It is not a fancy restaurant where celebs go like the Taverna Flavia which I visited recently but the food is very local and nice
They are famous too...
The Restaurant
Check this out the restaurant is over 100 years old !! (since 1903)
Pasta with Tomato Sauce
Meatball with Cripy Potato
Carbonara
This restaurant hasn't changed since 100 years. You go there eat their local dishes and get a nice glas of wine and talk with your friends. All dishes are cooked nicely so the food is very very good but the restaurant is not about impressing people. You pay 8-12 USD for a great pasta and after that you could several main dishes. The family running this restaurant is so friendly and everybody is super nice. The cook came out and greeted us and we received a free dessert as my friend is a frequent guest there.
Do you like local food or more expensive restaurants?
