This is a shot of the grapes that grow in my backyard. The grape tree was already present when we moved in. At first we didn't know what to expect, blue or white grapes. It turns out the tree carries blue grapes. The taste is very sweet, but the skin is a bit sturdy. This makes them less suitable to eat, but great for making juice.

When we don't have time to trim away the smaller grapes and leaves, to give the larger grapes more room and sunlight to grow, we don't pick the grapes at all. We just leave them for the birds to find. They love them!
