Many people are friendly to others. We are taught that being friendly, saying hello, being respectful, are good ways to be. Good manners (ways of acting) means that we are good people and that our families are good families. But if someone needs help, have you noticed that there are many people who are so busy with their own lives, that they say they have no time to give someone a helping hand?

Many will say that we cannot see God on the earth. Those who believe, can see Him reflected in the material world and in the actions of those who are living on earth. The words mean that God, a being of Love, has a schedule for us as human beings. It is our work to do good deeds for others. This is the work of God, that is always waiting (it is never finished - there is always more to be done). To be done, means to be finished, completed, or over. The words may also have the opposite meaning: that human beings never do what is supposed to be done. Which interpretation do you agree with?

This part of the song is a statement that every person chooses what he does in this life. His actions belong to him - but it also means, each action belongs to He (God). This line has both meanings and is meant, I believe, to make this point that most human beings do not realize their lives have a meaning - that they have a purpose set out by God - also, that they owe their existence to a higher being, and they should be doing what is proper for them to do. This means, that we have a proper humanity - that we are meant to be a certain way, even though we have a choice in what we do. If we are living in full awareness of our true natures, then we will do our best and find happiness.

The final verses suggest that while some people believe and some know, not all of the people actually live according to what their intellect reveals to them.
