As a content creator, within a community of content creators, it's sometimes easy to look at the success of others, as the yard stick, by which to measure yourself.
Remember though, in a community of content creators, some people have been doing this for years. Some even make a living from it, professionally.
So if you're new, to blogging or vlogging, then measuring yourself against such people can be daunting.

Of course, those people at work are fulfilling a necessary role as content consumers. It'd be awesome if they started to widen their scope a bit and see some of this stuff. I'm sure that DTube, Steemit etc will play their part in that widening of consciousness.

I agree with you totally m, @bobaphet, because often in the begging this can be such a powerful disappointment. But it’s good for human to compare themselves with others as a tool for growing and development as well!

Always great to see the perspective of both sides. It's easy to get bogged down thinking you are not nearly as good as those that are the best at what you do but as you said we are already a step ahead of the game in comparison to the general public. Very inspiration message here brother :) Cheers!

Yeah man it was a very good trip! Met some lovely other travelers on the plane and have been enjoying Bali tremendously so far. Forgot how nice Indonesians are :)

I think comparing ourselves to others is not really the best thing to do, we can use someone's achievement as our yardstick to measure our success instead. another nice one from @bobaphet, keep it up bro
