Looking for answers!
I drew this picture with pencil crayons and am using it to lure people in with cuteness, so I can hopefully have some questions answered! As a noob, I have seen some things that I would love to understand better!
What does it mean when a posts $ value has a line through it?
Can I do a give-away contest with some of my art or does it have to be steem related prizes?
If someone upvotes their own post immediately, does that mean there is no potential curation award? and is immediate considered within 1 minute, or??

Hi. I'm sorry to author for asking this question here. But I can't post. When I'm writing a post, the Post button does not 'light up'. When I hover it, it has a 'stop' icon on it. Is there a minimum number of characters now? Because I remember three months ago there wasn't any limitation. By the way, I just came back, three months of Steemit hibernation. Thank you.

I believe "What does it mean when a posts $ value has a line through it?" is because the user has rejected author rewards from the post.

I think the problem with giving prizes is that there is no way to private message someone on here.
You automatically up-vote your own posts but not your comments. I think there is nothing wrong with up-voting your own posts.
But if I gave them the link to contact me privately through my website, I could arrange to deliver prizes...I would like to give away some of my art...so just brainstorming :) Thanks! I am upvoting one of your posts and following you :)
