Rebel Dog Mountain Top Fun

There is nothing on this planet that makes Rebel Dog more excited than an opportunity to chase a flying object down a hill over some boulders. He spends his morning bugging me to throw something for him, sometimes getting what he wants. Occasionally I take the ball on my farm tasks and throw it here and there to keep him interested. These photos are from one of those days.

It's partially a training tactic, every time he starts to run away or get distracted I hold the ball up and he's immediately paying attention, sometimes a bit too much.

Occasionally he gets hot, and hides in bushes or under boulders while I do my tasks. Occasionally he will just run for the house, sometimes he just takes off the property somewhere.

The tennis balls are recent to him and they're kept up because Tequila our other dog destroys.....just about anything she can including her own bed. The current reason she doesn't have a bed is she tore her last one right down the middle. She's still got her issues, clearly.
