A Quick Visit to The Port @ Denarau, Fiji

Bula!

Even though I am in Fiji, I have been working a bit as Daddy E had work throughout the trip so it was a great opportunity to catch up on things while on holiday. And the best bit is the kids are with the Nanny so its actually not too bad at all.

We did take some time out to visit the surrounding area and one of the area we went to was The Port. It is like the central hub for all your needs from shopping, food, cheap massages etc. Also it is the terminal where most people get onto the ferry to go to other islands around Fiji so it does get pretty busy.

We took a few hours out to go and explore the area and of course it was very different to the resort life we’ve had for the last few days. What surprised us were the houses in Fiji was not cheap - at least the ones we saw the at the real estate. I guess housing prices around the world have been going upwards regardless where you are.

The kids didn’t come with us but I think they wouldn’t of enjoyed it at all as there was no where to play at the complex.
