🗞 Tether on Strings? Crypto Debates Fresh Round of Manipulation Claims

As they say, shots were fired.

An investigative article raising concerns about possible market manipulation of tether has sparked a social media firestorm, with the dollar-pegged cryptocurrency's detractors, supporters and seemingly everyone in between weighing in.

In an incendiary take on an already controversial topic, Bloomberg analyzed tether trading data from the Kraken crypto exchange and found several "red flags," as the headline described them.

🗞 Only Five Percent of Stock Market IT Providers Have Deployed Blockchain !

Nasdaq, in collaboration with research firm Celent, has conducted a global study regarding the CIO mindset on R&D and the adoption of new business models by capital markets infrastructure providers.

The results show that the degree of adoption of specific technologies differs significantly. Whilst 70 per cent of market infrastructure providers use robotic process automation, only 5 per cent apply any kind of distributed ledger technology. However, 70 per cent are in involved in blockchain trials or industry consortia.

🗞 ‘Dumb’ MacOS Malware Attacks Slack, Discord Users Discussing Crypto

Security researchers have discovered MacOS malware attacks targeting Slack and Discord users talking about cryptocurrencies, SC Media UK reports July 2.

Remco Verhoef, founder of network security firm DutchSec, posted about the malware on June 30th in a blog post for the information security and cybersecurity training Sans Institute.

🗞 Cryptocurrency Hedge Fund Multicoin Capital Remains Bullish on Ethereum and EOS

Declining cryptocurrency prices make a lot of people uneasy, for obvious reasons. This is especially troublesome where the many cryptocurrency hedge funds are concerned. Even so, there is room for optimism. According to Multicoin Capital, both Ethereum and EOS are still in good places, whereas XRP and Litecoin may face more struggles.

🗞 Japan’s Internet Giant GMO Launches New Upgraded 7nm Bitcoin Miner

Japanese internet giant GMO has launched a new, upgraded model of its bitcoin miner equipped with 7nm ASIC mining chips. The previous model was sold out. The new model can achieve a higher hash rate and has a “hash power optimization function.” It is for sale at the same price as the previous model.

So the test of our support line has been done and confirmed. My next objective is the previous TOP at 1.86$. A break of this resistance line will trigger quickly a test of the 2$ levels. A second scenario is a new test of the support line which must hold to keep the current good trend.
