🗞 VeChain Arrives: What to Know About the $1.5 Billion Blockchain for Business
Yet another top-20 cryptocurrency has officially released live software.
As of 0:00 UTC Saturday, the first block on the VeChain blockchain, whose token supply is valued at $1.46 billion at writing, has been mined, marking a milestone for a project that aims to convince businesses to adopt code tied to a crypto asset traded on a public market.
Seeking to address obstacles with public blockchains like ethereum and bitcoin (namely alleged governance inefficiencies, economic model issues and design difficulties), the project also hopes to eclipse solutions like Hyperledger that have so far been the go-to platforms for business.

🗞 Recently Found Double Spending Vulnerability Is Not Tether’s Own, SlowMist Confirms
China-based cybersecurity firm SlowMist has confirmed that a recent double-spending vulnerability it found in Tether (USDT) is not inherent to the cryptocurrency itself.
Instead, it is enabled by some crypto exchanges’ databases not strictly verifying the status of the “valid” parameter of incoming USDT transactions. SlowMist explained this in a comment to its own Tweet June 28.

STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion
Here is the chart of yesterday :
Here is the current chart :
We had a nice bounce on the STEEM, due mostly to the bounce on the BTC. We are now testing the previous TOP where I traced you a green line. If we are able to break that little resistance line around 1.36$, we will try to test the upper line at 1.50$ which is a most important resistance line. Let's see if we can break first the green line, because a new drop is not excluded in the direction of the 1$.
