Two Crypto Exchanges Shutting Down? | 29th of March 2018 (DCN #23)
Today is the 29th of March and, again, a lot of exciting news and events are taking place in the cryptocurrency-world! And as always, I'm going to be covering the most important stuff that's going on.

1- Two Japanese Crypto Exchanges To Shut Down
According to Asian news outlets report, two Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges, Mr.Exchange and Tokio GateWay, are withdrawing applications with the FSA (Japan's Financial Services Agency).
Even though no official statements have been published, it's expected that these two crypto exchanges are set to cease operating in the middle of growing scrutiny from regulators in the wake of the $500 million theft.

2- Bitfinex Moving To Switzerland
One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Bitfinex, is reportedly planning to move to Switzerland.
Bitfinex, the world's fifth largest crypto exchange, that currently is based in Hong Kong, is already in talks with the Swiss authorities over a move to Europe. The Bitfinex chief has said that Switzerland is at the top of the list of possible destinations, while London is also being considered.

3- Bank of England To Test Blockchain Features
Bank of England is testing blockchain? According to the bank’s statement, they're undertaking a proof-of-concept (PoC) to understand how the renewed Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) service could be capable of interacting with Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
The UK bank will cooperate with companies such as Baton Systems, Clearmatics Technologies Ltd, R3, and Token, which develop payment solutions using innovative technologies.

4- Liechtenstein To Support Blockchain
The government of Liechtenstein that is well known for their positive view on cryptocurrencies, is going to introduce new legislation to regulate Blockchain business models and underlying Blockchain systems.
“The planned regulations will make us one of the first nations worldwide to regulate this topic this broadly, laying the groundwork for extensive economic applications”

The bill will be presented in summer and is drafted so that business models based on blockchain technology are integrated in a manner which provides legal and regulatory certainty for businesses and customers alike.

Nothing really huge in the news today. But I have to say that it's interesting how the blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency markets are starting to head more and more towards Europe. Binance, and now Bitfinex, are planning to move to Europe. What're your thoughts on this?
The markets are bleeding. What else is there to say? Pretty much everything is down A LOT for the 24h. But hey, this isn't a reason to be upset! It's a great time to buy, and stock up on some cheap af cryptos ;)!
