Crypto Market Update: Recovery Continues: China Market Shakeout | Huge Market Swings w. Growing Stability in Places - $138B Market Cap | 9-20-2017. | Brief Overview & Perspective.
After the latest market corrections (aka Crypto on Sale Prices!) down around $40B over 3 days, which took us into the ATH range of $180B Market Cap..... we dumped again after a recovery was started and ~2 days now of SOME stability.
That DUMPENING and stability has continued based on original FUD news out of China -- and the FUD, news and related market response in the markets continue.
My last updates on my blog (focused today on STEEM price and placement numbers and news) had the market cap holding at around ~$138B
~6 days ago, ( 9/13/2017) on my last update in THIS particular series - that market cap number was down to $119B - something most of us never thought we would see.
Today is Sept. 19th, 2017 and the Markets are stable for about 2 days now after that BLEEDING out.
That means in ~12 to 16 days recently, we had lost ~$60B in market cap. (Sept. 2nd ATH of $180B market cap)

In the recent past - and hopefully again -- we HAVE BEEN continually seeing records and ATH's (all time highs) being broken every single day, sometimes, within minutes or hours of something being broken!
~17 Days Ago on Sept. 2nd - we saw ATH's in Market Cap and BTC/Crypto's:
~17 days ago, on Sept. 2nd -- we were all MOONING with BTC right on the razor's edge of breaking $5k USD (in some markets it did) - and the huge ATH of (nearly!!) breaking the $180B market cap here:
Sometimes, this involves pullbacks or corrections. I rarely use the word "crash" as many of you know.
We are doing OK. This is what I have always said in all my posts / updates.
-- I think like others we have been overdue for corrections in the markets. But I do not think any of us forsaw the epic FUD news out of China coming - since they have banned crypto and unbanned it SO MANY TIMES.
Bitcoin and Crypto in general - has rebounded quicker each time with that news over time... it has been amazingly resilient!
We need to remember we are all still early adopters here and the markets and new people/money are finding their way here with us.

FUD all around, it was so inspiring to see the FUD spreading machine Jamie so i think i wrote three posts in a row just bout that topic. How discouraging and arrogant these people behave and irresponsible to the masses who never heard about cryptocurrencies. Market manipulation machinery lead by banks to get more share in Bitcoin and Co. and destroy the idea of decentralization as they did before with the current system..
I strongly encourage everyone don't be scared by the FUD, by tiny China exchanges which are closing or banks who recognize that they are up to their ears in difficulties! because of worthless finance products they sold to millions of people and they pop like a bubble if people wake up and the damage done with no interest, high fees and no wealth in the end.
What i see is a strong agreement that cryptocurrencies will stay and grow like you showed the quick rebound in prices. Jamie could tell a thousand lies about Bitcoin and other blockchain related things but i think now there is a strong foundation and the blockchain technology is without a doubt a great step into the future!
I encourage everybody to think for yourself if someone yells in the media what's wrong, how stupid people are, especially they talking about you and me without shame.. please don't be victim of these messages, it's in their own favor to load up Bitcoin for themselves, like J. P. Morgan did, right at the same time as Jamie spread the FUD. Even if Bitcoin tanks to $1,000 it's no reason to give up, look at the past, the volatility was way much higher than today!
