Well, I've found the Silver Lining for STEEM and STEEMIT again in these markets bleeding out RED! | The numbers speak the truth. We're actually doing GREAT. I've broken this down with the charts/numbers as always. | STEEM is up ~4.5%!
Here are the numbers for you. STEEM is doing actually really well, when you consider 99% of the market is running at a LOSS in the RED and that about ~95% of the market is actually in DOUBLE DIGIT LOSSES now over the last 3-4 days!!

Keeping optimistic during this correction...I like it. Steem is looking pretty steady and so is Ark and Lisk. When the market picks up again, look for those 3 to start moving. Good luck.

I think all alt coins depend on how BTC is doing, the difference in price changes in these alt coins to me, depends on how frightened the owners of the coins are, in Steem's case a good part is not readily available (you have to power down) so you don't see changes as significant as can be seen in other coins.
There are a lot of factors to this, that is some good stuff you point out again, some of the aspects of this currency really seem to insulate or hedge against some of the problems other coins have..... everything compared to GrandDaddy Bitcoin is always interesting too.
The deflationary aspects here and others..... are something nice indeed.

Steem is one of the strongest coins out there, i actually buy more steem in this dips, as i am 100% sure it will raise... Holding steem makes me feel safe...

I am encouraged by Steem's resilience in the face of market turmoil. It's a testament to strong demand and confidence in the currency. Both positive signs in a rocky market.
I do think we see consolidation here for a while: a great time to trade the currencies, but not for any substantial adding or selling of shares. Long term, I remain bullish on Steem, though.
