Travel with Barry: E. 10 - The Western Canada + Prairies Roadtrip Continues: | Bible Colleges & Seminaries in the Prairies and BC. | Life on the Road around Saskatchewan! A funny sign I made & hung on the LOVE highway sign in LOVE, Saskatchewan!
The journey continues today from my roadtrips around North America.
You have to remember, these pictures are from 2006 and so is the technology I was using then. Digital Cameras were not what they are today, so the quality suffers.
I am in / around the Nipawin, SK areas here today.
The trip is filled with a PILE of great memories from my 2006 Bible College / Seminary Tour that I affectionately called
Coast to Coast with the Holy Ghost.

I had this super funny, and biblical idea to MAKE a wooden sign and ran it by the then current bible college Student Body President. He loved it too.
So we did it!!
We would hang the sign below the highway sign for LOVE, Saskatchewan - and turn it into a biblical / fun / ministry moment for all the highway people driving by.
There will be a lot of pictures from this part of my life, as it was very important for me and a lot of fond memories travelling the country, looking at bible colleges and seminaries, and ministering along the way as the Good Lord saw fit even with my imperfections......
... which really is part of the life in Christ, according to scripture.
Here is me in bad light, with that old camera --- up above the sign, to really put the size of things in perspective.
We left this up along the highway just like this. I was told checking in with friends --- it stayed up for months.
None of the residents, police or gov't workers took it down for a long time.
It meant a lot to me, I never thought I would get to see any of Canada.... let alone spend 25 weeks on the road in my car, seeing a lot of the prairies and western Canada -- and the legendary British Columbia too.
I was pretty excited LOL.
That is me again, below the sign, which is 6 feet or off the ground, on the highway, set back. I am literally standing on about 6' of snow here, and yes, that is my hockey stick and shirt you see, with a felt Team Canada hockey fun version of a hockey helmet I used along the journey as my toque, eh??!!

These memories may not mean anything to anyone else but me, and that is OK.

This done one better ---- It is a moose dressed in the RCMP outfit of the Mounties -- the Federal / National Police Force.
As usual, I will offer minor political commentary on the spotted past of the RCMP in the Police State here -- tied to Bill C-51, and the police state / mass surveillance bill, stealing the civil rights of people in this country.
