SteemHeroes is a crowd-sourced superhero universe that exists entirely within Steemit. Anyone can create a character by submitting an entry that follows the SteemHeroes character creation template and their character will become a part of this universe! Once we have enough characters, we'll hold fights between heroes and villains with the crowd voting for the winner. The creators of those characters will then split the SBD generated by the fight!

The story has been unfolding through the prologue, but we're getting close to launching the full project. Though there's one problem. We need some character artwork!

That's where you come in!

We're calling on talented artists from Steemit to use their skills to create some cool artwork for the SteemHeroes characters that join the universe! Each character that's been submitted has a physical description, outfit and other clues that determine how they should look.

Your job: select one of the existing characters, draw them and submit them to the contest! We'll pick our favorite pieces of art and award the winner(s). Either one winner will win 10SBD or if we're split between two artists, each will receive 5SBD.

As the contest winner, you'll earn the opportunity to illustrate every future SteemHeroes character! The drawing contest winner will not only win this initial prize, but they'll have the chance to earn residual rewards every time a character they've drawn fights! The SBD generated by a fight will be split between the creators of those characters, but if one of them has an illustration drawn by the contest winner, they artist will earn half of the value of the Steem Power awarded as well! Example, if a fight generates $8 in payouts, $4 would be split between the creators of the characters while $2 would go to the character artist.

As SteemHeroes grows, you'll have the opportunity to draw many characters with the potential of earning bigger and more frequent rewards as more and more fights are carried out!

How do I enter?

Easy! Just pick one of the existing SteemHeroes characters, draw the and post the image as a comment below. As long as we receive submissions from at least one artist that we really like (basically, someone who can draw better than myself), the contest will be concluded. We may also assign one winner to draw heroes, while the other would draw villains. It all depends on the entries we receive!

The contest will run for the next 7 days. If no suitable winner is selected, we'll extend the deadline with round 2 next week.

Other rules:

• Comic-book style artwork is preferred, but stylized illustrations will be considered if they're exceptional
• Drawings must be original and based on the following SteemHeroes characters
• Full-body drawings are required
