Week 5- Win a Membership in Steem Basic Income - Tell us About a Favorite Freewrite
A Favorite Freewrite
Every Tuesday, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income, SBI, at the Freewrite House.
Try to win one, my friends. An everlasting vote on your posts is nothing to sneeze at.
We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read in the last couple of days you really liked. Yup, not your own!!
See the rules below for details.
In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.
So, to be entered into the drawing, tell us about a freewrite you really liked and why. Choose from the last couple of days so others can go, visit inspired by your description, and leave a vote.
Win, Win, Win!!!

I would like to share this particular freewrite by @iamjadeline. It is a beautiful story shared from the perspective of a husband and father, whose wife has gone to be with the angels in the sky. It touches the heart deeply as it is written with gentle words and sweet thoughts coming from a father's heart. A little painful, a little sad, but full of love as his heart goes out to his little girl who took much resemblance from her mom.

Good luck! thank you for your recommendation!
So, I would like to give @honeydue a shoutout for her weekend freewrite!
https://steemit.com/weekendfreewrite/@honeydue/record-of-time-weekend-freewrite
It was amazing and creative. She told an incredible story of frustrated love, with a twist at the end. I really feel that she is one of those writers that deserves more attention. I was sucked in, and thought about the story several times since I've read it!
You are a little short on words. The comment needs to be 50 words minimum :)
Hahaha oops!
Fixed it! Thank you for your patience!
😘

Good luck. And that was a great story!!!
https://steemit.com/freewrite/@mmasim/freewrite-5-min-prompt-home-alone
This #freewrite hit close to home and @mmasim did a fine job on it. Being home alone can be scary whether you are young or old. In the U.S. there are many elderly who are not visited by family or friends on a daily basis. The fact that @mmasim likes to write about his experiences, like me, will have me visiting his posts more often. 👍👍

That is what we like to see!! Friendships being formed all over the world through writing :)
I loved @wordymouth's monkey wedding that he posted today:
https://steemit.com/contest/@wordymouth/headed-for-a-rocky-start
The title is great. I think it's so cool that the story is told entirely in dialogue. It's such a creative way to tell a story, and something I haven't yet seen done in this contest (though I admit that I haven't read every single entry every single day). It's funny and playful and ridiculous all at once, and he managed to do it in so few words. This was a really difficult prompt to do well and he stuck to it while also not feeling like it was crammed in there artificially (like mine, cough cough).
4 @malloryblythe
He has a way with writing dialogue!!!
Here are my nominations for the week:
https://steemit.com/freewrite/@khimgoh/200-days-freewritehouse-party-contest-day-6-are-you-prepared-for-children
@khimgoh describes beautifully the joys and frustrations of parenthood, pointing out we never really are "ready", yet it is possible to enjoy the ride.

@pixiehunter's random thoughts amused me a great deal.

@honeydue wrote a gripping, intense, disturbing, spooky story.
https://steemit.com/freewrite/@improv/eyeroll-5minutefreewrite-x3
And this one, by @improv. Absolutely, wonderfully disgusting.
https://steemit.com/freewritecontest/@simgirl/day-215-5-minute-freewrite-tuesday-prompt-monkey-s-wedding
Just read this one by @simgirl! It's such a lovely poem, with catchy phrases and descriptions, I had to add it to my list.

We love that you come full of gifts!!! So many good freewrites you are sharing!
I like this freewrite by @rabiujaga:
https://steemit.com/freewritepoetrydigest/@rabiujaga/day-214-5-minute-freewrite-monday-prompt-home-alone
He wrote for the home alone prompt and gave a raw interpretation of the theme. I can feel the frustration and agree with the idea that we should all be grateful for what we have and count our blessings. No matter what, always be grateful if you have a home to go to at all.
6 @fitinfun
I was wondering where you are!!! I hope that Caleb is going to write with us soon!!
