And now, here are the week's' nominations,

in no particular order, but.... If you include cool images/graphics at the top of your post, right under the title, and it fits into a screen shot, the post with Carol's favorite graphic will usually rise to the top. #GottaLove@redheadpei's images - you'd be at the top EVERY week if I didn't try not to let my bias dominate. We can count on @owasco to include awesome artwork, and @adncabrera's original artwork (hers, or her daughter's) is not to be missed. I'm not sure how much of her writing is in response to the daily freewrite prompt, but she does use the #freewritehouse hashtag, which is what brought her to my attention, to the point that I had to devote an entire blog post to her:

Freewrite House Literary Talent Award

There. Got my sneaky pitch for a fabulous Spanish-native Freewriter out of the way.

And now, here are the week's' nominations!

@kaerpediem

Published author @byn is back with the FreeWrites and as expected it does not disappoint. Even when she's feeling a little tipsy she has written a story that gives you enough mystery to want more. Who? Why her? Why there? What's going on?
Three words to tease you, Museum, Name, Letter... now maybe you can connect the dots after reading it.

@redheadpei

So many great writeup, it’s hard to pick one.
I especially liked @owasco’s freewrite post on a neighbor who offered her dead nettle tea. He made her life miserable with a compost pile, etc. She could see.
Her descriptions of his messy yard and what she thought was in his house was hilarious.

@chireerocks

@freewritehouse Team, Visited @redheadpei's Freewrite Post which you can find below. While visiting that Freewrite post let's welcome laughs in our life.

We remember those Comicdays which inspired us towards Cartoon Characters and with that, comic world made us laugh and always pushed us towards the excitement and thrilling essence. So welcome the old days of laugh by welcoming comic world once again.

FWH-faves.png

@fitinfun

I have two this week, both from the prompt "comic."

The first is from @jerrytsuseer about his not-actually-a-run-in with a jogger as he was driving. He tells that story we have all seen where the jogger with headphones on thinks he can just go anywhere regardless of traffic.

And I like @lacl's post telling remembrances of good times in Venezuela seen through the difficulties there now. And we get to see an old "Top Cat" cartoon translated into Spanish :)

FWH-faves.png

@wonderwop

I ran across @iamjadeline's #freewrite on the prompt cologne, while I was looking for a post from her to wish her Happy Birthday. 🎊🎉🍷It's about a friend of hers who attracted many women, but he wasn't interested in women. I have the same problem, but I love women. Debbie doesn't like it when these chubby chasers show interest in me. Anyway, her friend was wondering if they could make a cologne that repelled women. I say just ask them to pay for dinner and he'll never see them again. Happy Birthday @iamjadeline 💕

Hola! me gusta leer los escritos de @dk007, tiene contenido personal y otras veces de caracter informativo. Si hago comentarios en sus post, se toma el tiempo los lee e interactúa con sus lectores. Las imágenes que usa se adaptan diariamente al tema.
@freewritehouse Translation:
Hello! I like to read the writings of @d00k13, has personal content and other times of informative character. This post in particular I like it because of the way he expresses his thoughts. besides presenting an analysis and futuristic vision about the world of cryptocurrencies. It is a free theme that can very well be debated.
If I comment on your post, it takes time to read them and interact with your readers. The images you use are adapted daily to the topic.

@carolkean
would like to add that @d00k13 is a regular contributor to #dailypetphotography and #dogsofsteemit as well, and Jerry the Rescue Dog is a fan favorite there:

I head down the the swamp to listen to the stream centring myself with the energies of nature. Jerry has his own plans of getting a snack in while I’m distracted. He loves to snack on the new shoots of grass, no need for a lawn mower with this guy around.

I would also like to add that Cam Stubbs, @dook13, is also up to date with all the techno-wonders of social media, and he's great at promoting Steemit, Partiko, Share2Steem, My Actifit Report Card, The Daily Qurator, and more. Don't take my word for it. Just read all the links at the end of his posts!
And even if it's too late to upvote/resteem, be sure to check out some of the glorious Fun with Dogs photos. So many gorgeous, scenic views, mountain top views of sunsets with the dogs, and more:

But wait! I have more!

@carolkean

The cool thing about @felt.buzz freewrites is that he incorporates each daily prompt into the latest intallment of a series. Also cool: how supportive of @Freewritehouse he i, and all the Steemit community and beyond. (D-tube!)

Sorry, my copy-paste doesn't allow you to click on links to Part One through Part (Today), but click on the image below, and you'll find hyperlinks that work.

This one is five days old:

Another cool thing about @felt.buzz freewrites:

You can see and hear @felt.buzz read the first 7 parts here: https://steemit.com/dtube/@felt.buzz/i0p0jyj7
and the second 7 parts (8-14) here: https://steemit.com/dtube/@felt.buzz/vm23ot2g

Late to the party! That's me!

@carolkean

Somehow, I keep missing daily freewrites. This little gem by @deirdyweirdy is nine days old, too late for upvotes and resteems, but it's never too late to read and enjoy! I love the science fiction elements in this one, the relevance of vaccinations, and the surprise twist at the end, AND I love the author's own illustrations.

FWH-faves.png

Thank you for reading, commenting, upvoting, and resteeming our fellow freewriters!

DISCLAIMER from Carol:

I am still new at this. Today, for the first time, I got the centered images to work - ALL of them! Yay!!! Next up: Start posting this via the @Freewritehouse account.
I do the upvotes from my own account, which is only a whopping 2-cent vote, and I still haven't checked to see how much the 30% upvote from Freewritehouse is. The next step is declaring "winners" and awarding steem via wallet transfers. Not there yet! Sorry, @mariannewest, and @byn, and thank you all for being so patient with me.

#GottaLoveFreewritehouse!

Woah, deeply appreciated ❤️ I do try to engage everyone even if I have to translate 😅 thank technology for that one!

I’m glad you all enjoy what I do, it’s part of the process in being a resource for when the horde of new people actually arrive.

It’s kinda humbling to be featured like that ☺️

You deserve the attention, @d00k13 - you and @felt.buzz and @wonderwop and now I have to start rmembering more names... SO MANY people here contribute so much, and not just at #Freewritehouse. You , @redheadpei, @oswego and others here also contribute regularly to @d-pet, #dailypetphotography, #dogsofsteemit, and your presence is appreciated by many. I'm happy to offer a #ShoutOut to active contributors like you. ❤️

I dunno my lady.... I say the projects deserve the attention and that’s my end goal to participating though I do really enjoy having so many options on a daily basis that are also very community driven!

I am honoured nonetheless ❤️

Soon to start focusing that effort of being a resource into a project of its own... you may have seen the beginnings called onelove resources 😉 I’m hoping to make it like a one stop shop for simple help on a wide variety of subjects... focusing a little more on the after beginner stages but still not confident. It will be a face you should know @deepsouthpuddlin front running the whole thing, super stoked to see this idea start to come into reality!

Once again, I say the projects deserve the attention 😝

Your energy, enthusiasm, and activities are amazing. Your humility too. :)
Ooh, sign me up: **#onelove resources 😉 "a one stop shop for simple help on a wide variety of subjects... focusing a little more on the after beginner stages but still not confident."

I waver on trusting my abilities, it really does mean a lot to hear how other perceive me... exactly to my intentions it seems!

Well you know maybe I could get you girls collaborating on it, I mean there is a lot of research and I believe in proof reading so I’ll be certain to let Lele know of your interest.

Eventually once the ball is rolling we will be asking for topics and trying to gather needed information.

Of the top of your head, what’s an area that needs addressing?

funny thing - first thing on my mind today is the way most people wince and cringe and say NEVER to entomophagy - adding worms and insects to the human diet - eat fewer chickens and cute furry mammals with expressive eyes. Especially cows and pigs: if I hadn't grown up with beef and pork on the menu, I wouldn't dream of killing one and eating it. But perhaps you're leaning more toward crypto-currency, cyber wallets, building readership, and... yeah. #RescueDogs is a topic that goes well with writing. A lot of books promise that proceeds will benefit some 501(c)3 animal recue. Save the goats, cows, pigs, and chickens! Eat bugs! (Tomorrow maybe I'll have something more relevant to offer.) :)

Lol that’s a topic little outside what we were thinking about... more relevant to the complexities of the platform and gearing people with resources and support to continue forward after breaking the ice and landing here.

For me it was Video production that set me on my path but if it wasn’t for a few helpful tips behind closed doors I wouldn’t have had any idea what I was doing wrong... I want that information to be public knowledge and not protected like it currently seems to be!

Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, think I 'll go eat worms... or no....think I'll Go to Steemit!
Someday I'll overcome my aversion to video. I've watched book reviews and author interviews, and it takes people FOREVER to cut to the chase. We 21stC citizens of the world are spoiled by short news clips and fast-talking reporters. Cut to the chase. You'd think I was a native New Yorker... impatient, dispensing with "fillers" like "This is only my opinion here, and please don't take it as a criticism, but...." I'm bull in the china shop. "Out! Out!" is quicker and easier than "If you please sir, we are not set up to accommodate creatures of all sizes, and we hate to say this, but we must ask that you vacate the premises...." Out! Out!
Yeah. Me be New Yorker at heart.

Thanks so much. What a wonderful endorsement. Your kind words have really brightened my day.

Awwwww! You brighten OUR day. :)

@carolkean, Thank you so much for your kind mention.

Thank *you for nominating a favorite freewrite, and you're welcome, everyone!

BONUS if you click on one of these posts:

(and if you have to click on all of them to find the source, mission accompished!)

@carolkean, when I saw this photo, I thought it was you and it meant you had a sex change starting in 1978 - then I saw @jerrytsueer’s reply and realized my mistake. 🤔

LOL!!!!!!
I'm so glad other people jump to funny conclusions in that split-second before realization kicks in. (With me though it takes way more than a second!)

Ok, now I will confess. Not having read nearly enough of Jerry yet, I thought that portrait was recent. Later, I saw the 1978. Ahhhh. Ok. Not exactly a Millennial here getting bone replacements. :)

Haha. It is too funny. I was actually looking at the photo seeing if there was any resemblance to you left. 😂

Thank you for the nomination and inclusion
@fitinfun and @carolkean

We love you!! Thank you so much for doing this!

Thanks, and OMG, I went in to edit something, and now.... after boasting I got the formatting right this week.... everything got CENTERED near the end!!! I'd discovered @dook13's post wasn't hyperlinked after all, and in trying to fix that, I decided to add his dog Jerry, and then it all went fubar with the formatting. Knock on Wood after boasting I did it right for once. Gaaaah!

Ok, I'll edit this again. Can't let this go.

I think I got it now.
****Formatting!!!!***

hahaha - that is how it always goes. No worries - in 10 years from now, we got this down 😂

I look at it that way - just by being here and doing what we are doing, we are way ahead of most people our age!

Oooh yeah, compared to a lot of grandmas, I'm pretty "with it" - I have a Steem wallet! My own offspring, Millennials, don't have that yet! We Rock!

You better believe we do!!! 😄

You did a fabulous job once again @carolkean keep them coming.
