Thanks to plushzilla conceding to mr-bike in the last tie breaker round.. The first regular season of the IFC is now officially over!

Sorry to those who didn't make it, it is what it is. It's not an easy challenge and only so many can get to the top 16.. And only one will win the grand prize.

Amariespeaks told me she will be too busy to play, so I will remove her and add the next person in line.
After this is announced I will also try to get in touch with every single player in the top 16 and check to see if they think they will be available.
If anyone else in the top 16 is not available, then they can either choose to let someone specific play for them, or we will pick the next highest ranked person to take their place.

Glad to hear you'll be able to make it!!! And yeah.. Me too! It was an awesome round before and I have a feeling this one will be as well! Especially cause there's literally 158 steem on the line now! I think people may try a little harder when it's more than just a regular round, and the entire season and grand prize and title of Information Finding Champion is on the line. :D For once I'm kinda glad I'm not competing.. I would be kinda nervous at this point! And lol.. I guess I am still kind of nervous for all of you. You're all such awesome people, I'd like to see you all win.. But.. There can be only one! dramatic music plays in background
Yeah the 158 Steem is going to be a nice Power Up boost for someone that’s for sure!! :)
Definitely makes it more interesting now that’s it’s one and done! More of a sprint now rather then the marathon we had before! Looking forward to next week! :)

I'd like you to as well! Looks like you might have an automatic win or will be playing someone else unless jan can find a camera or change his mind if he's just doubting his skills. I'm not really sure what the case is.. If he literally has no camera or is just doubting his skills?
It's unfortunate that someone might not play cause they don't have a camera if that's the case with him.. Though in the end.. This is the Information Finding Championship and the people voted on the rounds to be played.. And everything is in motion already, so.. I dunno.. I just kinda doubt we can make an exception and change things at this point for him if he can't find a phone. This is a diverse challenge, and one should be prepared to find information in numerous different kinds of ways to be the champion.

I'm in, going to be interesting to see how things shake out. It has been a lot of fun for me, I have enjoyed meeting and participating with everyone, so win, lose, I guess no draws this time, it has been a blast and I learned a lot.

I made it 😊 I am seriously shocked! So I was wondering how this will work. Do we have the 7 days to complete the challenges or is it less? If we lose one than we are out, correct?
I just started working after being a stay at home for 4 years so Steemit just isn't really for me anymore like it used to be BUT I want to participate in this as long as the challenges dont have to be completed within like a day or two.
Yeah, once it starts you will have a full week to complete each challenge just like in the normal season. :) And it starts a week from now. Congrats on the new job, bummer you won't be around as much but that's good to hear and glad you'll be trying to make time for the finals. :)
And yes.. At this point, if you lose once you are out.

It is true that if you had only got a couple more points that might have made the difference, that's one reason why I say you deserved to be up there in the finals, cause you had some great entries, but I think you only played in a couple of games. Me too. I’ll probably be getting my post up on Thursday. We booked a room in the small town of West Yellowstone just so we can enjoy a day with decent internet speeds. I’ll start writing it once you post the round.

I did have a GREAT plan but once I saw the rules I had to trash it. It's ok though, I've had a great time. I have all of my photos and just need to write my post and (dreaded sigh) UPLOAD the pictures.
Not sure what you meant about the rules, but we changed the "speed" rule, that was wrong. It was a mistake and I take responsibility for it. Everyone should be able to advance/TIE as long as they get all the items on the list. Good luck!
No I was referring to what the subject matter was and in looking for specific items to photograph. I didn't realize that until I saw the post. I was just going to upload some great pictures I took at Yellowstone.
I could have just put the date and time at 6/23 about 15 minutes after you posted it and said that my pictures took 5 days to upload... LOL

You might actually be in the finals because jan does not have a camera so he can't do the first round and has to drop out, the next highest ranking person will probably get his place, which is you. So.. Do you have a camera you could use? Or would you be in the same boat as jan?

Unfortunately, I don't have a camera per se but If its fine to enter with a phone camera, irrespective of the pixel, then I am in.

A regular phone camera will work fine! I think most people will be using phone cameras as opposed to the more professional kind as it's just easier. So, no worries in regards to that! Glad to hear you'll be playing! I'll put you on the list. :) Cheers!

Hey kenneth1, jan23com has officially given his position in the tournament to the next highest ranking person which is you. You don't have to share the rewards with him if you win since he has done it no strings attached, but I would personally suggest that if you do win that would be a noble and admirable thing to do to share of the winnings with him.
Lemme know if you accept and as I pointed out in my other response to you, a camera of some sort will be needed, though if you can't get access to one, you can yourself delegate to someone else and work with someone else and share the profits if they win.
