Information Finding Championship - Season 1 : Round 13 (Bonus reward of 25 steem or more for this round!)

It's good to see you again. :)
We were originally going to do a round for the judges this week, but.. Something else came up.
I applied for a contest done by @timcliff to shill for steem/steemit/blockchain and while our entry wasn't quite what he was looking for, he still took an interest in our Information Finding Championship idea and has offered to help. :)
Timcliff has donated 25 steem to us to use however we please and says he will upvote one of our rounds a week also. I talked it over with the others and we agreed that we want to do a special "shilling for steem/steemit/blockchain" round in honor of timcliff's generous contributions!
Also I decided I'm going to match the 25 steem he donated and help pay the judges more as well, so it seems like a positive for just about everyone involved in the competition! :D
I still plan on doing a round for the judges next week too, because I feel they could use even more help since they are doing such a wonderful and difficult and time consuming job, and.. I'd like to hire one more judge as well.. So if you'd like to be a judge, let me know!
(We're also going to be having "guest judges" in the future as well which will be less time consuming, if you may be interested in that)
In addition to the regular steem you would earn for winning this round, the round will have an additional 25 steem bonus prize for the winner!
Whoever puts in the best effort in regards to "shilling" steem/steemit/blockchain wins this round and the bonus prize of 25 steem.

I encourage you to take your time and do a really well thought out entry. This could be a very meaningful round!
He said he's going to be doing another contest soon and I was hoping we could sort of tie this round into a submission for his next contest, however.. He said the rules may be different.. So I'm not sure if it will line up right, but there is a possibility we could enter this round into his next contest for a chance to get more steem donated to the competition.
How about this.. If we are able to enter this round into his next contest and it wins something, then the winner of this round will also get half of whatever we may potentially win from his next contest as well and the other half will go back into the contest itself.
That should hopefully make this even a bit more interesting. :) So it could end up being quite a bit more than just 25 steem plus the round! Also.. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask! Me or someone else will try to help if we can!

The rules are..
You must create your own blog post on your page in regards to the challenge with a title mentioning the specific contest, IE something like.. "Information Finding Championship - Season 1 : Round 13 entry" and then link it here on this page in the comments below. And you also have to use the #informationfinding tag in your blog post as well.
For this challenge.. If there's a tie.. We will do another round to see who wins.
The winner will be decided by whoever gets the most votes.
The only people who can vote in a qualifying sense are myself and the judges I've selected and we will vote by leaving a comment on the submission that we like the most and say something like.. "I vote for this one" and a reason why we voted would be good too, but is not mandatory.
You have until this challenges post payout ends to submit your post.
The challenge will finish after 7 days when the post ends and provides its payout cycle and unless there is a tie, the winner will gain the steem, level up and have a point to go towards their long term win. (minus the 25% for curation)

- Language is primarily in English and if you would like to participate from elsewhere in the world it is up to you to translate your message into English so we can understand you.
- We also encourage Role Playing for those who enjoy doing that. :)

This is going to be epic, More and more sponsors, more and more players, and the prizes just keep growing along with all the surprises. You are doing a fantastic job on this @apolymask, I am so glad to see it continue to grow. With the community feel, and the engagement being shown, I am sure others are keeping a close eye for hints and ideas when they start their SMT communities.
Indeed! I have a feeling it will be. This round should be the highest payout round yet! I hope it brings in some fierce competition. :)
Thanks for the acknowledgement! I'm doing my best. It's definitely more work and more of a challenge than I thought it would be, BUT.. Also much more WORTH it and more rewarding than I could have guessed... In so many different ways!
I'm glad you're enjoying the developments as well, and yeah.. Perhaps they are! i've also been looking at other games myself as well to try to learn and perhaps improve things even more over here on this end as well. :)

Word! Thanks nxtblg! And yeah.. I think that was pretty major getting timcliff! I almost can't believe we have two different witnesses helping us in the first month or so.. I sort of expected in time that maybe in a year or two we would get some good sponsors, though.. Wow.. I did not expect it to happen so quick! No worries! It's how we learn sometimes just by doing and then figuring out how it works as we go. :) I'm happy to help you and anyone else who wants to play to sort of.. Learn how to play better! Well this one is wayyy out of my league haha but I wanted to say how cool it is that you have all of these sponsors now as well. I'm so happy for you that your contest has taken off like it has...I had a feeling it would, way back when...
Congratulations @apolymask. I've watched up close and from afar the work you put into it...you deserve it!
Seems like a few people are having trouble with this one, I'm not sure why it seems so difficult.. It basically just means getting the word out more about steem/steemit/blockchain kind of stuff. But.. I guess it is what it is.. It's not an easy challenge and some challenges will be more or less easy for different people depending on what they are good at. So.. Some people just won't be good at certain challenges and some people will be really good at certain challenges, will be curious to see who ends up winning the whole season!
Bummer though that you don't feel like this one is in your "league", it's a good reward and I'd like to see more people try. But thanks for the encouragement and the nice words! :) It is pretty crazy to see how quickly this has grown, and.. Will be interesting to see where it continues to go. :D

I definitely think IFC is going to keep getting more and more noticed! This is awesome and I think when people see the payouts and how big this already is then no doubt we will see more and more new wizards, knights, maybe other peasants like me join this bad boy!!
Word! :) I agree, and I think seeing the names of two witnesses attached is going to help a lot! In time hopefully we can get even more, and then maybe some day this will be one of the big challenges on steemit sort of like open mic is. I think that would be awesome and very rewarding for a lot of us who are involved!
And yeah! Haha, I'd love to see more unique characters like wizards and knights and peasants and maybe more non humans like luckysteem the tree! Will be super cool to see. :)
