Coffee of the World - Brazil Mantiqueira Sitio do Cruz coffee with me @c0ff33a ☕️
Brazil is one of the biggest coffee growing countries in the world, so it is no surprise they produce some coffee of exceptional quality as well.
This microdot from the Sitio do Cruz washing station is a Yellow Bourbon variety, and will give flavours of red candy, milk chocolate sweetness and mild acidity.
The first thing to do with this coffee though is roast it.
Looking good, now while it cools let's learn a little more about this special coffee.

Once cool, the roasted beans can be ground into the aero press.

Add hot water and let it infuse.

With the filter in place, sit the Aeropress on the cup and plunge to extract all that flavour from the coffee grounds.
This looks like it will be another delicious cup.
And it is, another delicious coffee - the natural sweetness in this one really shines through.

Mmmmmmmm... The smell of coffee is so delicious. Even if I can't drink it often, I love sticking my nose in a bag of roasted beans or holding a cup and breathing the steam. Yum!
Coffee does have an addictive smell - in fact some coffee shop chains inject an artificial coffee system through the air conditioning to make the shop smell even more of coffee!

I envy what you do as the smell of roasting coffee beans has to be the best smell and is like heaven to me. I used to always go to the coffee roaster near us as they roasted peanuts as well and was a good excuse to pop in weekly.
Roasting peanuts - now that’s an idea I love nuts! It’s a good smell unless I’m doing very dark roasts then it can be a bit smokey.
Now if you want to set up your own coffee roastery I can sell you a coffee roaster, Toper the Turkish coffee roaster manufacturer I work with ships worldwide.

I can remember the place called Peacock tea and coffee. They had fresh roasted coffee and the fresh hot roasted nuts. Everyone who bought coffee bought a bag of nuts as well. Not right now as I have too much on my plate. Would love to have a high end coffee bar with roasting on view.
