Eduardo Kobra Murals Mother Teresa and Ghandi

I have shared a few posts of the work by Eduardo Kobra a Brazilian Artists and I will now share another one of his pieces in NYC, if you missed my other posts on his work here they are. This is my favorite of his murals

Ellis Part 2)Ellis
Stop War
Color of LibertyPeace
Einstein Loves NYC
The 27 club
911 Fire Fighter Memorial
Einstein on a bike
Micheal Jackson

And sadly this will be my last post in this series unless of course, he does some new Murals in the future.
And I saved what is my personal Favorite to last.

This is mural on 10th Ave and 18th Street which can be seen from the highline, but these shots are from Ground Level and features Mother Teresa and Ghandi.

I wonder how long it takes to create the murals?? This one is fantastic and I admire the work both of them did in their lifetimes!

I wonder the same with his ones, I never saw them in progress, but I know the ones I saw on the east side, took between a week and a month so I am guessing somewhere in that range with all the detail in this I would guess closer to a month

Every single one of his murals is more amazing than the last, although stacked up next to each other, I am not sure I would be able to pick just one. For the people he used, I might have to say that this one holds a special place in my heart, having used Gandhi and Mother Theresa. How can it get any better than that?

His very identifiable way of using the checkerboard to define the people is so distinct and really grabs my attention.

Amazing work, amazing piece and simply amazing post.

Thank you and thank you for being a great part of #SteemUSA!

Yes some of well all of his works are amazing to see with his checkerboard style, but this one with to such amazing people who did so much good stands out for me as his best work.

I had to save it for last and then almost forgot these shots till last night and thought how the heck had I forgotten to share these

I hope your day is going well

Oh, you know... TOO BUSY. :)

Luckily today is fairly quiet for me having an early lunch 🥗
But I should have gone to the cafeteria in the building feeling the blister now but that will pass

I love the mirror image of two advocates for compassion, as well as the bright rainbow colours that make the piece joyful. Wonderful share!

I to love this piece definitely my favorite of his works with these two amazing people

He is so talented and I love the way you edited that last shot. Looks straight out of anime. Awesome, JJ:)

Isn’t he just the detail right down to and on the fire escape is so cool, I kept the most of the shots normal edits to highlight his talent, but the last one I did go a bit creative in the edit looking at it again now :)
