If you've seen breaking bad you'll know what i'm talking about, if you haven't I suggest you start up your Netflix account immediately as you are missing out.
If you've seen breaking bad you'll know that every scene feels like they've taken 24 hours to shoot as everything seems right, from the colors to the sets, you feel as though you're not just watching a standard TV show but a movie.
Even although you may have forgotten certain characters exist such as Ted Beneke, the car wash employees, Jessie's parents and little brother, these characters helped set up major scenes and helped us to get a picture of the main characters lives, all these little things helped us to imagine what our characters had been through to be as they are now, e.g. why is Jessie a drug dealer.
You can't deny that breaking bad has some of the most tense and also funny scenes in TV history e.g. when Hank was on a stake out and was about 3 seconds from finding Walter was behind the whole operation or when Walter threw the pizza onto the roof (personally have never laughed so hard in my life).
The idea of a by the book chemistry teacher suddenly turning his life around after find out out about his terminal cancer by getting into the meth business is something that excites all of us as we start to imagine all the boring people in our lives and how they could potentially be drug dealers. The entire concept keeps you at the edge of your seat as you try to figure what will happen next which is near to impossible as Vince Gilligan will always keep up the surprises.
Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston
This show would be nothing without these two actors. They could not have picked better people to fill the roll of a druggy school dropout and a gone rogue high school chemistry teacher. Aaron Paul is crazy talented and it almost seems as though he might have some experience with similar situations in real life. Never having seen Aaron Paul in any movie or show before I personally thought fuck where did this dude come from. Bryan Cranston is a genius, you may have seen him in Malcolm in the middle so you may have thought of him as a bit of a comic but this won't be the case after just a few minutes of watching him on screen.
