Good morning Steemit
What a grey morning it is yet again.
I had a little ehm... disagreement with one of our Steemians yesterday. Basically, I called him out for plagiarism (with outdated information too) and flagged his post and he did not agree with that. This guy started calling me names and being very nasty. I reported him to Steemcleaners and when he apparently re-posted this plagiarized, outdated information, Steemcleaners flagged that post. Gotta love Steemcleaners!
Anyway, this guy called me ugly and a grandma. Oh my gosh. I don't think it would even physically be possible for me to be a grandma! Okay, theoretically maybe it could be possible. Let's consider this... what if I, at a very young age of 15/16, would have had a kid? If it was a girl, she would have had to have been just a bit worse than her mum and had to have had a kid at 14. Not very likely. However! What if I would have had a son? At 14, he could have had an older girlfriend. We don't know how things would have played out!
Luckily, I was not a teen-mom, nor am I a mom at all, so let's just say this guy was a sore loser.
This happened yesterday while I was training my horse in Black Desert Online. I wanted an easy way to do this, without having to be at the keyboard all the time. I looked up how to create an automated walking loop and tested it out. I can now walk in circles with my horse, without me having to do much at all! I shared the how-to after that.
While training my horse and after my little disagreement, I started making dinner. I made my zucchini oven dish again!
I think it is one of our new, favorite dishes! Great for a vegetarian day (not vegan though, lots of cheese).
In the evening, we watched a couple of Supernatural episodes from bed. Oh how I wish they would be on Netflix. I haven't seen the last season yet. I might be even further behind... I'd love to be able to catch up. I think this should be amongst one of the first things I buy if I ever get a crypto credit card... Supernatural dvd's/bluerays, because that is the only way you can legally see it in the Netherlands (stupid old media companies). I only have up until season 5 now. Of 12 I think...
Anyway, I'm currently training another horse ingame. It's so easy, because I can write this while my horse and character are automatically running in circles. I wanted to test out horse breeding, but apparently you have better luck with getting a next tier horse if your mom horse and dad horse are high level. It takes a long time to level them up, so doing it automated is basically the only way I can stay sane while leveling them. Plenty of other things to do anyway.
I'm enjoying my tea right now and I might have to do some cleaning today. I didn't do much of that on my boyfriend's week off. It was just much more fun to do things together! Now that he's back at work, I'll have to catch up on the cleaning. I also have to decide what's for dinner today! I'll just check what's on sale this week and go from there.

You said your in the Netherlands can you put reciepies of some of your country's native food. I enjoy cooking and trying new thing's specially food from diffrent countries. I am not rich enough to travel the world try diffrent food in person. But I am willing to try and cook anything from any country in my own home. I believe that food says a lot about a culture and their people.
Thanks for the request @superman1982! Can you believe it when I have to think hard about what our native food is? Our fairly standard dinner plan is potatoes with veggies on the side and a piece of meat, but I hardly ever make that anymore. I think the best Dutch dish I can think of is 'Stamppot', which is basically potatoes and veggies mashed together... It's a tasty winter dish, so yes, I can definitely share that some day! During the winter though, because it is not something I want to eat during summer :-)
That would be awesome! No rush on aything whatever you post will be good. I am just intrigued by the diffrent cultures and learning a little something gets me excited!
I enjoyed reading your post because you let me know what is going on and at the same time gave me a recipe I will use. We are getting zucchini out of the garden and I am looking at way different ways to cook it. Sorry for your trouble with that person, at least you flagged it. Last night I saw a great post that did well with unusual photos and when I researched I saw they put the source as just "google images". I did not know we are allowed to use google images. Steemit is still a learning experience for me.

I'm not actually sure what images you are allowed to use on Steemit. You're earning money here in the form of crypto, so you can't just use any image you come across. I used a google search image once or twice and cited the source where google linked me to, but I'm not sure I should even do that. I think we need 'free to use for commercial goals' images and cite the source if they require that.
To avoid all of that, I mainly just use my own photographs. I know I'd feel pretty bad about people earning money off of my pictures (with, or without mentioning me), so I don't want to do that to other people.

How do you report to steemcleaners? I see so much accounts that steal 100% of all their posts like they're copying the travel brochures and such.... so sad.
I agree with Netflix. They should create a portal where tv-producers can add their shows like on Spotify and they get paid by the views. I don't care if the show first airs on tv and is then added to the portal. I have so many shows that I'm unable to watch legally.... so stupid.
You can report them through the right channel in Steemit.chat . The channel is called steemcleaners-linkdrop.
Yeah, I'd love a Spotify-ish solution. It's just so annoying, because when you don't live in the US, you basically have to be okay with knowing all of the spoilers about a show, a year before you can actually see it outside of the US. If they were to go for a Spotify-ish solution, atleast they'd get their money. Just imagine how much they would get for Game of Thrones on the very first day if they were payed per view and released world-wide at the same time.

It is good that you stood up to that guy that posted irrelevant information, it is people like him that makes post engagement hard, whenever i go to the new section to read new post, i have to scroll for a while before i see something worth reading.
And No, you are not a Grandma, your zucchini dish look delicious by the way, it is a pity that food is not yet downloadable on the web.

Hello @ogochukwu, thank you so much! It is indeed getting harder and harder to find interesting reads in the New section. I've been reporting the comment spammers aswell lately and I know more people are trying to battle them a bit. I feel it's needed to keep this place a happy place for us all.
It's harder to find plagiarism, but when I find a post with such outdated information (he was talking about the days when payout came in one day and 30 days), it is quite obvious.
The zucchini dish is really tasty! Maybe one day we can print our food ;-)

Oh gosh, that's horrible! I've had that happen to me here aswell. I posted an article that did quite well and not a day later, someone else posted it as his own. I caught it myself when it was only a minute old, so I flagged it right away and shared it with the community. Luckily, we have plenty of people who stand behind you when stuff like this happens.
Your copycat did a very poor job huh, copying texts with topics that are obviously not his own... I would have downvoted the post for you if it wasn't already past its payout. I'm curious what his response will be, though I'm afraid he'll just ignore your question.
Quite right for standing up to the twot. And name calling is never cool, not that you are any of the things he described!

Hmm... I think steemcleaners is mostly for plagiarism, I don't think they battle insults ;-)

Haha, no people still ask me for my ID at times when buying alcohol. I think it came from a frustrated little fella who didn't get away with what he was trying to do :D

I can definitely agree that bots are bad in some ways. However, Steemit is for humans and humans can be stupid/greedy. Stupids (and the bad kind of bots) will vote on greedy's posts, even when they are stolen from someone else. I think Cheetah is a great bot for pointing out potential plagiarism (no harm done when the source is cited in the article). And flagging? I loved flagging when someone stole my post and pretended it was their own. I'm pretty sure most people would feel this way.
