Week 28 Odds.jpg

I will again update this post during the weekend with the saturday and sunday matches. In the last 2 weeks, all matches will be played at the same time. I will likely be making seperate posts once the playoffs start instead up updating 1 weekly post. All previews include what I took myself pre-game and what I will be looking at for Live bets based on the info I have right now. My views can change before or during the matches as more info comes in.

Friday Match

Genk vs Antwerp

Racing Genk have been gowing a lot lately and they are on my list of teams which I'm looking to bet. Antwerp have been in decline and now dropped outside the Top 6 and have been on my fade list last couple of weeks. I don't really like the fact that they are now for the first time outside of the playoffs as the mental pressure of dropping out might have taken place for a will to get in again. Playing from behind mentally is usually a lot easier. I expect this match to be played with Antwerp in defense breaking out on the counters. The first goal will be by far the hardest in this match and I will likely wait live to see which of the teams makes the first goal. A home team goal could make this match much more open while the 0-1 could will have Antwerp likely play even more defensive. An Antwerp collapse late in the match is also not unlikely if they are behind. So I look at...
~ Genk Live in case they are dominating (possibly 1H)
~ Genk in case they are ahead and Antwerp has to come and leave spaces.
~ Over if Genk Scores the first goal
~ Under if Antwerp scores the first goal
~ Over if there is a late 1 goal lead no matter who leads.

Saturday Matches

Mechelen vs Charleroi

I took an early position on Charleroi +0.25 @ 1.90 on this match but price has gone up and it is trading at +0.25 @ 2.10 right now. Both teams are in somewhat of opposing form, Mechelen in relegation battle taking points at the end of the regular season and Charleroi unable to win in their last 5 matches and sure of a Playoff 1 spot allready. Making the relegation team favorite is a step too far for me though. I do always respect the market and will not bet anything extra pre game. I might go both sides live, betting some extra or trading out my pre-game bet depening on how it all plays out.

Eupen vs Lokeren

Lokeren have been playing better lately, they lost last week against Kortrijk in a match that could have gone both ways. They tend to play good in away matches and worse in their home matches. Similar to the Mechelen match, I never like the relegation teams as favorites since the collapse scenario happens quite often. A lot will depend on the math from Mechelen. If they win Eupen pretty much is forced to take the 3 points which should have a big influence on the over that i will probaly take in that case.

Oostende vs Sint-Truiden

An away team in not the best form who are going to be willing to take risks to get the in win against a home team who are safe and play for nothing. Stvv are able to play solid defense and I might take some on the under live if they take the lead early. I do like Oostende and the Over though if Oostende shows to be clearly the better team live.

Waasland vs AA Gent

No signs yet of a Waasland fall back after they saw some key players and their coach leave after the winter break. They are safe and should be willing to play for the win at all costs which should leave some space in their defense at some point in the match. The hadnicap and odds are set quite sharp, My plan is to slowly get in on the over during the match if it starts with a study round which overly adjusts the odds. I'm also looking to take some con the corners over once this becomes available at the asian books.

Sunday Matches

Anderlecht vs Moeskroen

Anderlecht have been in a deep crisis and it's really hard to bet on them right now as the market has not overly adjusted their odds. I don't have the balls at the same time to oppose them and bet Moeskroen who are in the safe zone and have nothing to play for. Trebel should be back in the team for Anderlecht which might have a positive influence. No real pre-game opinion on this game and this will be one of those matches I go into live without a real plan and open to bet anything based on the information during the match.

Standard vs Club Brugge

I already took Standard vs Club Brugge Over 3 @ 2.38. I expect this to be an offensive minded game with 2 teams who have a hard time to keep a clean sheet. Standard has been in better form and plays at home while club are without a win in their last 4 matches. I do lean towards the away underdog though and took a tiny bet on Club Brugge +0.25 @ 1.87. Standard have not really played against the best teams during their good form and Club Brugge will be a real test fort them.

Kortrijk vs Zulte-Waregem

Kortrijk have been in great form and are inside a top 6 spot. Zulte-Waregem had a dissapointing season but are in a safe zone with nothing to play for. This should be a good setup for a match with goals as both have been playing forward, but mainly the high line and bad pitch keep me away from betting it for now. The bet I'm looking for live is the Over in corners (no line available yet at the bigger bookmakers) Both teams are 4W-0L on the over 9.5 CK in their last 4 matches.

Thanks, the match went pretty much as planned. I made some good profit, but still left a bit dissapointed as I was about to move in quite big at the time the 2-0 was scored.
