Mechelen vs Anderlecht 3-4

Mechelen
Mechelen coach Ferreira adjusted to Anderlecht but it did not work out and they were outplayed in the first half. He adjusted his tactics in the 2nd half and it was shown again that he has a team with very good mentality that can fight back.
Anderlecht
The first match from new coach Vanhaezebroeck immediately had a huge impact. Anderlecht have a lot of quality in the team and Weiler in many way restricted this by his counter-approach. It was probably the reason why they tended to play better 2nd halves often when they were in need. This pattern is out of the window and I expect much better 1st halves from this team now maybe with a fallback in the 2nd half as seen in The Mechelen and PSG matches. Anderlecht right now are potentially very underrated and have big over potential with the change of style. Still lots of work before the team really is used to the new system.

Charleroi vs Eupen 2-2

Charleroi
This match had an expected slow start with the first chance around 29th minute, slowly Charleroi grew to be the better team and scored the 1-0 in minute 31 quickly followed by a penalty from Eupen in minute 33' Charleroi remain a difficult team to play against, they will rarely blow out teams and often win by 1. This time a late goal was against them. They will lose more points in this type of matches.
Eupen
I talked about how Eupen starts matches defensively and took the Under 1.25 line pre game with an eye to possibly middle live. The first 29 minutes did bring so little that I bailed on my plan and ended up losing the bet. Betting Big odds over line live around 20th minute when still 0-0 in Eupen matches regardless play will be my plan from now on.

Genk vs Moeskroen 1-1

Genk
Genk remain in the waiting list. big potential but they first need to break the bad streak before I'm willing to back them. Genk is a good example on how you don't want to bet just on potential. I've saved a lot of units by just waiting it out until they show actual form.
Moeskroen
I talked last week how Moeskroen managed to score in each of their matches so far this season and again they did despite Bolingi not being in the team. They did play with a lot of players behind the ball in this match and got a whopping 20 corners against.

Lokeren vs Stvv 1-1

Lokeren
Poor match from Lokeren who seem to be going towards their previous poor form. They have a hard time to score goals but did keep on playing to try and get this win in the end. They are on my potential fade list
Sint-Truiden
The pattern of them being the worst corner team continued losing this one 11-2 (Scoreline helped a lot). They are dropping back after a great start now taking 1 on 9.

AA Gent vs Waasland 2-0

AA Gent
New coach but nothing really seems to have changed. AA Gent still had difficulties to create real chances. I'm not sold yet for them to make a true comeback in the standings. It is possible that this win might bring a spark resulting in a temporary upwing so I'm not blindly fading them right away.
Waasland
Waasland for the first time this season played a poor match. I still see them as an overall undervalued team and will mainly be looking to back them as the outright winner when they are a big underdog since they have the potential to win against any of the teams in the league. Overs in 2nd half are also still high on my betting list.

Standard vs Kortrijk 3-1

Standard
Standard with Sa and Edmilson showed to have a lot more scoring options again not only having to count on Mpoku. They made a little jump in my team ratings but my worry still goes out towards their coach Sa Pinto.
Kortrijk
Kortrijk took an excellent start but seem to have fallen back a lot. Defensively not good enough right now which makes it difficult to win matches. They are in a bad streak and on my potential fade list until the manage to turn this around somehow.

Oostende vs Club Brugge 2-3

Oostende
This was a very open match where Oostende at times had periods playing very good. Berrier as always in these top matches showed excellent form. I'll look out for future top matches without him to fade Oostende. Oostende in last place are clearly ranked far below their potential. I expect them to get into a winning streak at some point.
Club Brugge
Club Brugge took a lot of points early in the season without good play and now seem to have found much better form showing to be a real top team again. I will be looking to bet them as the favorite If they show to be the better team in a match.

Antwerp vs Zulte-Waregem 3-0

Antwerp
Antwerp again played a good overish first half at home where they have big support. I do believe they might have become a bit overvalued by now. I still expect them to count on their defense in away matches. Once it breaks this should open the doors for plenty of more goals and potential late overs.
Zulte-Waregem
They started the season great but now seem to really struggle. Also another poor match in the mid-week against Vitesse. I'm not looking to back them right now, late overs when they are behind are still very high on my betting list.

More analysis

Western Kentucky vs. Old Dominion
Play: Over 49

The last 3 meetings between these teams have averaged a total of 95 points per game! The weather will be perfect in Norfolk, VA this evening. A pleasant fall evening with light winds and comfortable temperatures. Western Kentucky's plan last week was to get the ball downfield more and it certainly worked with QB Mike White throwing for 5 touchdowns and 398 passing yards. Overall, the Hilltoppers set a season high with 627 yards of offense. That doesn't bode well for an Old Dominion defense that has allowed 530.5 yards per game in their last two home games. The Monarchs are allowing an average of 46 points per game their last 4 games. The Old Dominion offense has certainly struggled at times this season but they have been much better at home where they're averaging 27.3 points per game. The over is 8-2 when the Monarchs enter a game off of two or more consecutive SU losses. The over is 12-3 when Western Kentucky enters a game off of two or more consecutive SU wins.
