Beat Battle League Week #4
Wow what an epic League so far. It's awesome what a community can do without any extra funds.
That's right all the funds that have been paid out, over 200 SBD and 750 Whaleshares, have come from the community through their support on these posts. Any room that is left has been covered by myself with @jphenderson donating the Whaleshares.
So basically with two people plus @enginewitty, @vandigital, and @derekmiller have put on this Beat Battle League for you all.
We absolutely love doing it and will continue to do it for weeks and years to come.
But it would be nice to reward these Steemians for all the time, effort, and work they put into. We love putting our time into this and the nice thing is we have a little control over our time.
It is only a matter of time until a Steemian realizes how much real, positive change the League is bringing to the Steemit community and provide additional recognition and rewards for these hard-working Steemians.

With Week #4, we are going to keep it similar to last week with original submissions based off an universal theme.
That is right Steemians, you can be as creative as you like and use whatever you would like in your beat. It just has to resonate with the universal theme of this week.
This week's universal theme is: Loneliness
Loneliness is common among most humans so it should provide an ideal foundation to build your beats off of. This is also a nice extra way to help bring awareness to the fact that people are really lonely these days and face depression sometimes by themselves.
One Steemian movement doing something about this is Voiceshares led by @rideofpassion. They are giving a voice to humans who have and are fighting depression through a token traded on Bitshares called Voiceshares.

This week is extra special because this week's entries will be apart of a new movement in the Steemit community called the Steemit Music League (SML).
Stay tuned tomorrow for a post with more information about how the Beat Battle League will be involved in the Steemit Music League.
The rules are simple in the Beat Battle League.
Just make an original submission based off of the universal theme of Loneliness and use the #beatbattle tag and/or comment your submission on any Beat Battle post.
The judging panel of: @chiefmappster, @enginewitty, @vandigital, @derekmiller, and @jphenderson score the submissions based off of:
- Sound Quality,
- Technicality, and
- Creativity.
To make sure our world judging panel has enough time to fully vet each submission, we will accept entries until the Sun rises Sunday morning and announce the winners Monday morning.
The prize pool is as follows:
FIRST PLACE WINNER: 25 SBD and 65 Whaleshares
SECOND PLACE WINNER: 12 SBD and 50 Whaleshares
THIRD PLACE WINNER: 7 SBD and 40 Whaleshares
FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 4 SBD and 30 Whaleshares
FIFTH PLACE WINNER: 2 SBD and 20 Whaleshares
Also, as an additional way to maximize recognition, feedback ,and rewards for the members of the Beat Battle League, every entry into the League will be @buildawhale -ed.
Since there is obvious synergy with @buildawhale, every entry into the Beat Battle League gets nominated into the lot of posts that the @buildawhale Curation Team curates.
They then highlight the most epic posts in a daily Curation Digest that provides critical feedback and 24 hour exposure for the authors nominated.

Now that's a good theme for the next round; This should be interesting! I'm hoping to hear some beats that touches my heart chakra, instrumental vibrations that heal the soul! I remember when I was depressed over the very same woman that I'm with now and I made this one instrumental beat that just made me cry. It was an emotional experience the way the instrumental grabbed my heart and told me that everything was going to be okay and that I wouldn't feel this loneliness that was aching and un-balancing my heart energy. That beat was so beautiful to me at that time and I always listened to it when I felt lonely because I made that beat in her presence so it was sort of special to me. I definitely understands how it feels to be lonely and from my personal experience that made me stronger, I truly know how feeling lonely can lower your consciousness down to the point where you don't want to exist in this dimension anymore. Depression has multiple stages and the last stage which is against the universal laws, is suicide and I for one can tell you that it's not a good feeling of wanting to pass away. Lonliness & depression is nothing but mental challenges to overcome the negative enities that are constantly trying to lower our vibrations just to feed off of our negative energy. Once we build up our mental strength to over power these thoughts that are not ours, we understand that we are never alone and that we wasted valuable energy on lower frequecncies that held us back from the higher eneriges such as Love & Happiness. For me, it was my passion for creating instrumental music that helped me fight through my lonliness & depression so for this theme for the Beat Battle, I'm hoping to hear some of that healing instrumental music! Great post @chiefmappster, keep up the great work!
Holy smokes @instrumentals this comment resonated with me more than you know. That is incredible to see you power through life with the help of music and never letting go of the vision.
I have been there as well depressed over a woman and my life was in shambles. I did exactly what you said spent so much time on lower frequencies and then for whatever reason I made it through in one piece.
I have lost a few to suicide so I know what you mean its unnatural to the universe and I have seen thta shit first hand.
But I sure hope this brings up some discussion and more awareness for the fact that people go through stuff in their lives. And sometimes they just have to survive to thrive.

So I just got approved yesterday for my Steemit and Dtube accounts and stumbled on this while browsing the music section. I have followed through a few of the links, but couldn't figure out exactly where submissions should go for the #beatbattle. I did upload a video to dtube early this morning that actually goes right along with the theme for this week. I admit this beat had nothing to do with the contest when I made it last week, but it seems appropriate and figured I would reply here since it seemed like a good place to start with the community participation.
