Here is last weeks image and winners!
Congratulations! I hope to read more of your stories this week!!
1st place // @cizzo - “November Wind”
A bone-chilling November wind struck against Max’s face. He tucked up his coat’s collar, close to his mouth, and let out a long warm breath. He could smell faint traces of his breakfast. Scrambled eggs and toast. Earl Grey tea with honey and lemon. The mom usual. Max continued to brave the early winter wind, his shoulders hoisted up. His sad eyes reflected his thoughts. Saturday morning with nothing to do. He couldn’t stay in the house any longer. Mom was in a foul mood. Felt like she had been every day since the divorce, long before that too. Max thought of turning back home but pressed on. The cold wind felt right as it numbed him.
2nd place // @rjd - “Cold and Letdown”
As he wandered through the busy streets, he remembered what happened last night. Drunkenly confessing his affections for his friend was the worst and most idiotic thing he could have done. "Things will get awkward from now on especially if she doesn't feel the same way", he thought. He sighed, feeling letdown and shivered from the cold as he grabbed the collar of his jacket, burying his face in the fabric.
3rd place // @jamesanity06 - “Regrets”
No idea of what to do next, confused and guilt stricken, Sam dressed up and hurried to Becky's house just to find the girl hanging from her bedroom ceiling. A note was left lying under the lifeless girl's still hanging corpse, "Sam, I love you and I respect your decisions, but I can't live with this guilty feeling anymore. Don't worry, our little angel won't be alone after all, I'll watch over her and I'll watch over you too Sam. Go on with life Sam." He then bursts into tears, regretting the decision he and Becky made that day, "If only I was man enough to take responsibility for the mistakes we've done, maybe we could've been a happy family, all three of us!!"
I wanted to do something a little bit more expressive this week. I got out of my comfort zone by choosing a harder pose with the arm and then I colored it. The overall image is still soft which I like but I can’t look at it anymore or else I’ll point out a few minor imperfections.
Thanks for choosing my entry as 3rd place, I am deeply honored. This gives me more motivation to improve on my writing skills, or rather "newly found writing skills", never knew I had it in me, thanks for the awakening bump!
Awesome! I’m glad that I was able to give you a little push and I hope you continue to grow your skills!
Congrats to the winners. Love this week's story image. Guess I'll have to work harder this time 😁😁

Thank you very much! 😊
You are very welcome!! And Congrats again on winning!
Hidden among the music cds scattered on my bedroom floor were my unreachable lucky pants. "Where are you??" I'm late!", I screamed out loud. I knew the extra minutes were going to take away from my musical theory manna. I left my house dodging the pedestrians of Av. Cornholl to arrive almost in time to my final Organology exam in the Failholl's Music Institute. Graduation was approaching and this was my last step; nothing was more important to me than music. I had already arrived at the door to the Institute, but a click in my memory told me that I had left my cellphone at home. "What has happened to me?" I was disoriented and manic-depressive - not being able to look at my irresistible cell phone screen. Nothing was more important to me than my phone. The precise moment when the Instagram notification returned the oxygen to my lungs faded in seconds. I could not attend the exam in those conditions, my body felt like vomitting when I remembered that my cell phone was not with me ... I just wanted to get home again.
