Hello for a beautiful Monday!

Today I'll bring Sea breeze and fresh Autumn air between us and I invite you to take a walk with me on Black Sea shore. Taking in consideration that you are my guests for a couple of minutes, we'll visit my favorite place☺

The Casino Promenade 🌊

There is a casino in Constanta, on the Black Sea shore. It is known as a symbol of the city, and every tourist who comes here in vacation takes time to have a walk around. It was built in 1909 and Art Nouveau style it's his architectural mark.

This amazing building hosted Russian Imperial Family but during World War II served as a hospital. After that, it was turned into a luxurious restaurant. Unfortunately, the building is closed now, registered as a historic monument.

Every day I come here it's like a new place that I visit for the first time. Depending on the light, sea state and moody weather, every experience is unique! That's why you just can't get enough of this place, and I mean it! 🌈

  • I hope you grabbed your windproof coat when you left home because it's a windy day here and you're gonna need it😊! As a personal opinion, I love when sea state is high and waves pretty active. I spend a lot of time watching the waves play, collapse, born and break... makes me calm and gives me a better understanding of life...

I must admit that I check meteo forecast constantly and try to be here every time Sea offers a stormy show!

The sea state is high because there was a storm near the coast, but here on the seashore was just fine. Sunny day! But storm had an impact on this area too, as a big wave height and strong wind.

As I told you, a wind coat would have been just great! It was so windy and cold, that my face became grumpy and frozen :)) It was very difficult to take some pictures with my tablet, because of it's dimentions, wind had a lot of surface to blow in and I almost droped it for a few times...

                        I have been there a couple of times in the winter, with -25 deg C at day time,.... I thought I couldn't be more cold than that until I went to Siberia hahahah. It is a nice city, with some interesting structures!
